GOOP Products Have NO REAL Warranty
- - GOOP claims to glue forever but excludes polyethylene and polypropylene.
- - Tech Service says they replace only, not refund, if it fails.
GOOP Plumbing Contact Sealant & Adhesive package states "Glues Whatever-Bonds Forever" and excludes use on polyethylene & polypropylene plastic. Recommended for PVC & ALL other plastics. I called Tech Service at 1-80*-767-**** begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              1-80*-767-****      end_of_the_skype_highlighting and was told that if the product failed to glue the plastic or any other substance, they will only replace the product and not offer a refund.
What good is more of a product that doesn't work the first time? I think this is a trend for many manufacturers. They put "Warranted for Life! in bold letters on the packaging to gain the sale but the consumer should beware. READ the SMALL print inside the box on the product details sheet or assembly instructions before leaving the store.
Since I haven't opened the GOOP junk and still have the receipt, it's going back to Lowe's Building Center. Lowe's has always been excellent at taking defective products back for an exchange or refund.
