Verified Reviewer |Dishonest, unauthorized repairs
- Vehicle not returned after 3 weeks; repair was to take 2-3 days.
- Steering part added to We Owe after purchase; backordered part not authorized.
They still have my vehicle, and its about to be 3 weeks for a 2-3 day repair. On 3/16/26, I test drove a 2012 Lexus CT200h and found a knocking in the steering.
They boast a 190-point inspection, yet listed if for sale before being ready. They only promised to repair it if I bought the vehicle, which I did on 3/16/26 so they added the steering part to the We Owe form. I dropped my vehicle off on 3/28/26 and they claimed they had shipping delays due to the war, when I found the steering damper in stock at a Toyota dealership in town! My car shares parts from a Prius and Camry, but they tried to pass it off as different since its a hybrid.
Ive been fed so many lies, and when they called today (4/15/26) to say they are waiting on a different part thats been back ordered was the last straw, as I was never informed of this new part needed, never authorized this new part to be repaired. Legally, they should have gotten my authorization for this new find. Im now going up the ladder towards legal action because they are going about it the wrong way.
The only thing they did do is give me a loaner, which does NOT make up for their mishaps, unprofessionalism, and unaaceptable business practices. I do not believe it was needed until someone broke it, to be honest!!
- Do offer vehicles at lower cost than competitors
- Cars are fairly clean when showing
- Vehicles not ready and false advertised inspections
- Long wait times like traditional dealers
- Lack of honest communication for repairs
Preferred solution: I want my car back in better condition and a month of insurance paid. Or they will find the exact same vehicle to replace mine. Same color scheme with same or less miles, a one previous owner car with two keys and weathertech mats.
User's recommendation: Stay away, lies about inspecting and after buying

Verified ReviewerNew name, same service?
- I bought a 2015 VW Golf with 13k miles at a great price.
- They refused pickup until the check arrived and threatened to sell.
- It took a week to pick up.
I purchased a car from them back when they were still called Driver Select. I found my dream car, a 2015 diesel Volkswagen Golf.
It was white with a cream and black interior. It had only 13k miles and looked brand new inside and out, and the price was great. They also had a black one that was $2000 more, weirdly it had 18k miles, oil stains in the interior and smelled like burned oil or diesel. Definitely led me to believe it had issues, resolved or not, they or previous owner did not take care to keep the car clean during repairs.
I had $2,500 down, and USAA overnighted a guaranteed check.
The problem was I lived over 2 hours away. I had to have a family member take me to purchase the car. They refused to let me have the vehicle until they had the check in hand. They even threatened that if someone else showed up with money before I picked it up, they would sell it, even if they already had my check.
No other car dealership had ever done that to me. It took me about a week to make it back to pick up the car. In the meantime, the car had accumulated another 500 miles, and they let some girls with spray-on tans drive it. There were orange stains all over the otherwise beautiful interior that never came out.
When I called to complain, they stated that it was my problem now and hung up.
I don't know if they still behave the same way, but I'd be very cautious about doing business with them. Given the other reviews I see, they haven't changed.

Verified Reviewer |EchoPark in Duluth owes me money.
Edgepark Motors in Duluth, Ga has not responded to several inquiries about an overpayment they acknowledged during purchase of a truck. The dealership was unable to write a check at the close of our deal but promised to mail a check.
I will continue to solicit a response.
Customer service sets dealers apart from one another. This dealership seemed to not have enough autonomy to act when necessary.
The Duluth location wrongly charged me Georgia state tax during my purchase. I am from Alabama and have already paid state tax there.

Lack of communication
- Appointment at Echo Park Duluth GA was delayed with no help for 45 minutes.
- Texts and calls to the salesperson and main office were not returned.
My wife and I have purchased two vehicles from echo park that being said one would think when we go there a third time we are serious buyers. In the case of Duluth GA.NOT the case.
I made an appt. on Tuesday 12/27/23 at 3pm when I arrived I went to desk they said we can't see you now it may be at least 45 mins. I wanted close to hr. no-one bothered to see me.
I told lady at front I had to leave. She just said ok like who cares .So my wife came back Saturday at 9am looked a two cars and said we would get back to sales person later. around 12pm I sent a text to sales person saying we are interested in one of the vehicles to please let me know when I could come in to get est. on my trade.
NEVER got a response from him. I called to main office at 5pm the lady who answered the phone said she thinks that someone just put a deposit on the car let me check and will call you back. AGAIN no call back or response. This poor customer service.
If they would have responded the first time when I texted him I would have bought car that day. I understand first come first served but it all boils down to communication
User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY CARS HERE

- Baltimore and Laurel ECHOPARK closed; 30-day warranty not honored.
- Staff Jeremy and Collin allegedly refused to honor warranty.
Scammers!! Buyers beware of this company who is part of Sonic Automotive.
They have immediately closed Baltimore and Laurel ECHOPARK locations as of Thursday, June 22nd, 2023, BUT were still able to sell cars and not honor their 30 day warranty!
Forget about speaking to corporate! They refuse to honor the warranty from what Jeremy and Collin stated. Scammers!!
Jermey and Collin are the worst business people I have dealt with. How do Jeremy talk about the Baltimore shop doing things to cars, bringing new cars back with engine lights and dropping the key in the mailbox.
Collin oh my my, argues with customers because they want the contract to be honored.

Collin is the worst of the two! Very unprofessional and have lied multiple times.
They breached the dealer warranty and verbal contract between Jeremy and myself, guess what for (Four worn mounts like really).
This company also have six other ECHOPARK locations closing so be Aware!
I just want my vehicle fixed as motor mounts are serious and its under the dealer warranty. I have emails and voicemail messages stating they will fix whatever it is and now they will not!
- Breach of dealer 30 day warranty
- Unreachable corporate
Preferred solution: My warranty honored that they are breaching and my vehicle fixed.
User's recommendation: Do your research!
