I had a total loss. Would not pay the balance in full. They came up with this story about some definitions. I am taking them to arbitration. I am looking at their ratings, not good. They don't pay their claims.

I purchased a used 2010 Mazda 6 21/2 years ago. I purchased my extended warranty 3 year for around 3k. I noticed there other day something dripping from k5y car. It was brought to a repair facility. It was found to be a leak in the cooling line for the transmission. I called easy care the rep said as long as it is not a rubber hose it is covered. Wanted to write a review for easycare to counteract all the negative ones I've seen on the web. My car (VW GLI) had a catastrophic failure caused by a failed timing chain tensioner. Basically all the valves were bent and a top-half rebuild needed to be done. I purchased easycare powercare for $2000 for 2 years/30,000 miles (something like that) when I bought the car last year (used with 80,000 miles) - car currently has ~98,000 miles. Reading... I had a bolt in my tire and called the dealer and they told me I could take it to a closer dealer. When I took it to the Ford dealer in Monroe they said I would have to pay and get easy care to reimbursement me. Well that was not going to happen according to easy car rep. It needed prior authorization. I was never told by anyone about this. I will never buy another service from them. Read more

Call them regarding a flat Tire it took hours and hours and hours and finally they cancelled it so thankfully a neighbor came by and help me put air in my tire so I can get to Les Schwab who is now fixing my tire

I was scammed into purchasing a policy that I did not need. Easy Care contacted me and said my maintenance warranty was expiring -it was not- I believed them and purchased a duplicate policy. I'm devastated. 4K scam.

After I informed easycare GAP about my loss I was advised to continue making my payments to the lender and that once the claim was processed I would be refunded the amount I paid out while the claim was been processed however when they process the claim I was told that they would not pay out anything I had paid and that there was not going to be any claims paid to the lender with the exception of $200+ because my car was over loaned and they... Attempted to file claim on failed axles. Easy Care refused to honor claim even though it was covered in the warranty. They said the failure was due to human error . I advised them I purchased the vehicle used and not had anyone do any work to vehicle. They still declined to assist. I paid $1100 for the warranty.

Disclaimer** I am NOT affiliated with EASY CARE in anyway. I've used Easy Care in the past and I was very impressed with it. I had a BMW 330i and never had any problems with the claim. One thing I notice, not everyone is taking their to the dealership. I've always took my Bimmer into the dealer if there was a mechanical or electrical problem. It would take 15-20 mins for the advisor to confirm the coverage with the insurance also not sure... Read more
