I've had issues with my KIA since the day I bought it. First a broken key, got stuck at work after a long day in theatre with hectic lists sales man and manager didnt do much to help me, drove with a broken key which I couldn't turn properly in the ignition, ordered a wrong key twice. First key that arrived didnt have a actual key only the emobiliser, second key was also faulty the key they ended up giving me is still not 100% dealer reckons I need to pay for a new key. Why since the first one they gave me was broken from the start? Sold my car to me with a burning engine light on the dash, broken tail light. Light got fixed a month later. Some solonoid sensor had to be replaced. I had my car 3 months it started stalling as there is a cut in petrol flow. I made a enquiry regarding the sensor. Garage even forgot about it!!!! Twice I had to enquire at some stage they asked me to bring my vehicle to the workshop. Garage provided me with a Curtacy vehicle which I was driving almost 2 months. In this time NO ONE updated me regarding my car. In 3 weeks time I made an enquiry apparently AGAIN wrong part arrived. I was patient after a few days I phoned again and by this time seriously upset with this level of customer service and said I'm going to report this to KIA S.A.. Next day I got my car back engine light off.... about 5 months later and now my cars engine seased!!!!!! THERE WAS NO WARNING ON THE DASH what so ever. No indication that the car was heating up, if the oil boiled in the engine according to workshop manager Eastvaal Motors Middelburg why didnt the engine light come on at least??? Of something that serious is happening in the engine why didnt the engine light or heat gage react??? The only time I realised something was wrong with the car is by the time there was a horrifying noice in the engine. Why was there no warning. We took a video. Heat gage normal. The oil and engine light only came on the time the engine cut off and kept burning. Im a theatre sister and i do theatre calls. Im STUCK without a vechicle!!! How should i get to work for a emergency?? Eastvaal Motors reconds they do not have ANY courtacy vechicles available. My car was there in their workshop. I had it towed there. I had it removed again today and taken to Ermelo since I do not have the slightest bit of trust left in any one of those people working there. The manager can hardly look you in the eye. They didn't want to provide me with A FULL history or fault finding print out of my cars computer readings. My whole life I wanted a Sportage!!! I'm so depressed with this car and the service I received from the start. Can someone please contact me so I can explain my situation. I'm telling you I was sold a faulty car from the start!!!!!!!

Bad service from the word go

To whom this may concern I am writing the email to complain about East Vaal Motors in Middelburg Mpumalanga, what a nightmare dealing with them. This is my story about two weeks ago I seen an ad on the internet of a Kia Soul for sale got in contact with the dealer and start the wheel rolling to purchase the vehicle. When it was time to arrange finance, I’d ask the finance lady Sharon to mail me the cost and breakdown whats my costs will be and also indicate to her that I’ll have a deposit of R50000. Phoning them on a regular basis keeping them inform that I am based in Cape Town and will be coming to Johannesburg via bus also giving them times and dates for my arrival. Few days before the trip I’ll ask if its possible if they cannot get me at the CBD Bus terminus due to there was no busses that time when I arrive to Middelburg. On arriving waiting for the driver I’ve phoned and the Sales lady wasn’t there I spoke to Sharon the finance lady she told me that there are no driver available and we need to take a taxi to Middelburg. Luckily I ask a friend to join me due to the long drive to Cape Town, at this time we are tired and starting to get worried if this is the right decision to buy the vehicle. We finally got a Taxi but the told us the only go as far as Witbank. Sharon the finance lady told us to do so and there driver will get us there once we arrive in Witbank. Here we are visiting Witbank for the first time not knowing what to do and not knowing the area we in(found out later wasn’t the safes area to be in). Got in contact with the dealer the told me the driver will be there in 15min, we waiting and calling their office worried if there is someone coming for about 3hrs, finally the driver arrive and when we drove to the office I realise its an 25min journey to Middelburg and not 15min as it was told to me. On arrival at the dealer I saw that they were busy cleaning the car after I inform them I’m on my way and the windscreen was cracked, the "Branch manager” Hannes told me that its the 4th windscreen they had but its the wrong size, eager about getting the car I didn’t think the situation through thinking now realise why on the day I come did they only source the windscreen and not earlier that week when before I arrive. What make me furious at about 4 we rushed to the bank to do the transfer of the deposit into the dealers account to find out that the cannot release the car if the money don’t reflect, at this point the see I’m not happy and agree to release the car. On this point I did request from the finance lady the account number and also a breakdown on the financial obligations that the car will be for me up until the day I arrived there nothing but the are professional dealer what bad service. On top on this nothing added service was given except as Hannes said he gave us a quarter tank petrol as extra because as he said normally put in only R100 petrol. On return I spoke to two dealers and both dealers offer me a full tank on a deal of the same value, if that is the service excellent he thinks than this is the last I ever will consider that dealer. Before I leave with the Kia he told me he will get in contact with me on Monday to let me know what he is doing about the broken windscreen. After no phone call from Hannes the Monday I phoned him on Tuesday he wasn’t available and then I phoned the Wednesday got hold of Hannes and he told me that by Friday a windscreen will be available, does it really take 5 days for a windscreen? I phoned two Auto glass dealers and the told me I can come the next day for fitment or even they will send someone to me. And on top of all the sales lady phoned me to tell me I can do the registration and they reimbursed me for this again after Hannes told me when I was there he arrange with a dealer in Cape Town to do this, only words with no actions why do I pay the registration if they want me to do this? And still after a week I do the calling around for them about the windscreen still not fix they never phoned me. This is my story the tell you what you want to hear to get the sale and that’s it Mark
