RE: Issue with New Guitar - T486-SB

To Whom It Concerns I recently purchased a T486-SB back on Oct 10/06/2020 ref Inv#112**** // Acct 103061 at N Stuff Music is Pittsburg, PA. The store had sold it as NEW. After playing it sparsely for a few weeks, noticed the treble volume cuts out in the center position on the pickup switch. Also the guitar does not sound chimey or have any resonating quality and rather sounds dull and blocky, opposite of what the sound in the videos on your website. I recently spoke with the store and was advised to take the guitar to a local service center - Rudys in soho AND that N Stuff Music will not refund even for a defective item that is less than two months from purchase date. This guitar being new, having serious issues in less than two months is not acceptable. I have owned and played many guitars since 12 and just turned 45 last Sun. Being asked to walk the guitar to a service center a mile away during COVID does not constitute care or appreciation of any sort nor best practice. Not happy with this situation being I took a lot of time researching Eastman guitars and having to find the right one against competitors. I would rather not take any more of my time to fix a brand new guitar not unreasonable. I do not like to spend time and money on wasteful things during tough financial times. What can you do to validate your brand and overall customer care especially when businesses need it the most now? Thank you, San Kim 646-763-****
