Eastern Virginia Medical School - Unethical and unprofessional

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Head of CEO took care of things

Original review May 13, 2025
The patient’s been going to this place of business since December 6, 2024. They came highly recommended.

The patient takes 10-11 pills a day; three of those pills are beta blockers, and they are insulin dependent. They also take Trulicity once a week. He needed all refills on his medication; he mentioned it to his doctor on his visit on April 11, 2025. Around the end of April, he began to call his doctor’s office, and every time he called, he got this lady in the call center, and it was fruitless.

So he reached out on May 9; his blood pressure was 103/101, and the readings would come up on his app. Today we called and got a lady who took care of it, and we got some medication but not all. So the patient called the doctor who was calling the prescriptions and mentioned to her that she didn’t give him his amlodipine, which is a beta blocker, nor his Trulicity—that’s the shot he takes once a week for his diabetes. She hung up on him.

Never mind you, this man takes 11 pills a day. He is also on the TLSS program, and he has a nurse that comes out, but this just goes to show you how ugly people are. You’re mad because you have a patient that takes a lot of medication, and you say you don’t see it on the list, so you’re not gonna write it. That is terrible.

Shame on her, shame, shame, shame. First of all, she didn’t want to do the prescriptions because it was 10 of them, and she probably wasn’t paying attention to the medication list because the patient has at least six or seven doctors, if not eight. And this is how you treat your patient because you don’t want to hear; you don’t want to see it. This has to do with the doctor that wrote those prescriptions today on May 12, 2025, not the doctor that he saw on April 11.

This particular doctor had to do the prescription and send them into the pharmacy. Now she’s terrible. I wish I knew what her name was because I would report her to the state board of profession and medicine. She is a disgrace to physicians, and she needs to be reported to the ethics committee.

If I’d known her name, I would; she was terrible to hang up. That was so rude. Shame on her. This is at EVMS.

If I pulled out every doctor visit paper that this patient gets after he sees his doctor, amlodipine would be on his list. Even Medicaid and Medicare, no, they got it all on their list. This doctor is terrible, and she is a disgrace. Let's see when you report him; then I want to send you a letter talking about, “We’re not— we’re no longer going to be able to see you.” It’s doctors like her that give other doctors a bad name.

I'm talking about EVMS, and I believe it’s the fourth floor if I’m not mistaken. I have every intention of exposing her even if I don’t know her name; I will talk about her.

You just can’t hang up on a patient in the middle of a peaceful conversation because you have to call in 10 to 11 medication’s to the pharmacy that is bad behavior, poor behavior and is unprofessional that’s why they have the state border profession as well as the medical board and the ethics committee That was a knot to do nobody said that wasn’t a good company one bad apple spoils the whole bunch it doesn’t matter whether she’s a nurse doctor they have to answer to people and if you don’t like my comment, don’t respond keep it to yourself because if it was one of your loved ones, what would you say and I’m definitely not gonna go back-and-forth with you so mind your business

And you also had some doctors there that behavior on be becoming and they can’t be reported to the ethics committee because they have one you don’t hang up on a person because they take 10 to 11 pills a day that you just feel like because you are a doctor or nurse that you can we are talking about one particular person on people well let me enlighten you you can face consequences for that and their record can’t be flagged license
