Bait & Switch
- The rep promised 100% metal roof; only half metal and half PVC was installed.
- Paid $25,000; gutter repair not completed and agreement unclear.
We spoke over the phone and nothing was resolved. According to ECMR my husband and I heard WRONG.
We are just too stupid old people …. End of story. No offer to placate us or apology for leading us on.
BUYER BEWARE! Senior citizens are easy picking for this company.
When it was done, 1/2 is metal, 1/2 is PVC. To this when questioned he said "you misunderstood me". The agreement was written in such a way it can swing both ways. The rep agreed to repair my gutter which was disturbed during the roof install but will not come or send someone to do this.
We paid $25,000 for one half a roof of metal. We would never have hired ECMR if we could do it over because they make promises and do not deliver. We now have to hire someone to repair our gutter. This has all the earmarks of "bait & switch" not to mention elder abuse.
The Rep (DAVE) saw an opportunity to steal from the old and the weak.
