Months of waiting for my tooth

Sometime in June 2010 I listened to a sales pitch at my local mall. The ladies in question, were representing East Coast Dental Center in Truro Nova Scotia Canada, and were discussing the advantage of tooth implants. They advised that once an individual had a preliminary check, an appointment would be made, and on that day, he or she would have an implant inserted in his or her gum/bone, and immediately be fitted with a temporary tooth, all in one day. They stated that once the gum heals, a permanent tooth is inserted/attached. I had my consultation at ECDC in Dec 2010, and my implant in January 2011. The wrong tool was used, so the implant would not set in the bone, so my gum was sutured until the bone would grown to hold the implant. In April 2011 I had to return to have the gum cut again, then the bone was scraped off the implant, and have a healing abutment inserted. The healing abutment was incorrectly inserted because ECDC didn't have the correct tool. The gum was again stiched, to hold the abutment in place. Two weeks later, in early May 2011, the stitches fell out, quickly followed by the healing abutment, which I almost swallowed. My local dentist was able to re-insert and screw it in correctly. Sometime in July 2011 they are taking impressions of my gums, which have changed quite a bit since the original impressions in Dec 2010. Then Lord knows when I'll receive my tooth, maybe Christmas.
