Taking days to make a simple repair

East Carolina Chrysler Plymouth Dodge--Company did not perform repairs in a timely matter, did not communicate why the repair was taking so long, and did not offer to provide temp assistance. My 2004 PT Cruiser was taking to another shop for repairs; however, problems were found in the computer system that could only be repaired by the dealer. This shop, at their own expense, transported my car to EC Chrysler. My car has been there for three days plus with no indication they have begun the repair. Their communication is vague and obviously meant to deter from the fact they are not making the repair. They have not met several of their own deadlines, nor followed-through with the things they claim they will do. They've made claims they are "waiting for parts" but suspiciously the part never seems to arrive. In the mean time I am left to scramble for transportation to and from work, disturbing my family's work schedules and "bumming" rides from friends. A vacation, planned and scheduled months in advance, is approaching, and it may have to be cancelled.
