Wanted to clarify, this school is in Norfolk County, Ontario (not Winnipeg!). Used to be run out of Aylmer, now closer to Port Burwell.
He still appears to be operating. Don't get caught up in this one!

SCAM field school; it is not recognized or regulated anywhere; course material is disorganized, plagiarized, and expensive; look for the red flags before you PAY! I am a former student at this school and have nothing good to say about the entire experience. I payed nearly $10,000 for what I thought would be a great year of learning, but turned into a nightmarish ordeal! I have never felt more mislead, manipulated, or frustrated! I want to warn others from making the same mistake I did. Never give this man any of your money! The senior instructor and only staff member of this school has a predatory nature, yet still manages to attract some of the most amazing good people who are looking to get involved in the environmental industry. He has stolen a lot of money from a lot of dissatisfied customers and has a poor reputation throughout Ontario and as far away as Alberta! His "certification" courses are not even close to comparable in quality to the MNR courses and are not recognized anywhere outside the school, yet for some reason, they cost over $1000 more than the equivalent MNR certification courses. See the disclaimers for his courses on his own website (www.earthquestcanada.ca): "EARTHQUEST cannot be held responsible, liable or acussed of anything resulting in your disatisfaction with the Program, courses, our staff, affiliates, agents, partners or representatives..." (it goes on) -- there is a reason this is there as he has had a lot of problems with dissatisfied students in the past. DO NOT pay up front; DO NOT sign any ridiculous contracts; DO NOT waste your time and money with this scam!!
