I only had the pleasure of taking lessons from Earl for 4 months and my friends who all play guitar are surprised at my progress. I always found Earl to be polite, patient, very intelligent, and a great teacher who mixed things up to keep interest level high.
I called today to re-schedule my class and found out that Earl passed away a few days ago (April 2014).
May God rest his soul.
While these discussions no longer matter, I felt compelled to write this note because I never experienced any of the points that this person is complaining about to be true. We have lost a great teacher.
We just found out today that Earl passed away. My 14 has been taking lessons from him for over 6 months.
He was a great role model and a talented amazing man.
My family is blessed that he came into our lives. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
