My children , girl 17 and boy 16, ate lunch at a busy fast food Chinese restaurant inside the upscale Galleria shopping mall (Houston Texas).They also ordered a to go portion to take home for me. After finished, my children went inside a clothing shop a few doors down and were chased down by the waitress demanding MORE tips. She told my children that her boss requires them to pay more tips according to the scale( 15%, 20%..)

My daughter got scared and pulled out extra $8 which the woman quickly grabbed and put into her shirt pocket. When I heard of this, I immediately drove my daughter back to the mall. There were no manager on duty, according to the cashier. She suggested that we come back tomorrow. No body is in charge, she said. How absurd!

I confronted the waitress. She argued that she only came after my children to show them the tips amount they were supposed to give according to the tips scale on the bill. She went on about how she had to work hard and that this causes her to lose over ONE DOLLAR. How absurd! I have never heard of a waitress chased after children demanding more tips.I told her that kids do not have a lot of money.

She finally pulled out the folded $8 from her shirt pocket and gave it back to my daughter while continued mumbling on ...no apology heard. Suggestion: DO NOT EAT at E-TAO in the Houston Galleria!

The food is 2 -3 out of 10. The service is -10! Not worth your time and money! Eat somewhere else with normal human servers.
