Epage Listings

Epagelistings is a scam to steal your money. They sent me leads that were not in my area and charged me $1000.

for 2 months and when I tried to get my money back they ignored me. Everytime I received a lead it was out of my area, I sent it back stating it was not in my area and they sent me another one that was not in my area, it was a vicious cycle of one bad lead after another.

Out of 60 leads that they sent me for 1000. I received 2 leads in my area and they were no good.

Epagelistings gave me all old leads and then charged my account for 6 months without my ok.

I got scammed by this company, got all old leads paid for the first 3months, didin't cancel in time and instead of them charging me for one month they charged me within 3 days the 1455 2 more times. They wouldn't call me back when I called on this issue.

I'm fighting this with my credit card at this time and also put a R.E.fraud report with the district attorney. I saw your blog when i went to bring them up.

It's nice to know of other people that feel the way I do. Thanks Patty

LIED services/promises (many companies in one)

I am a fairly new Real Estate Broker - NOT dumb, just new.

Please NEVER Use Epage or MoneyTree. They are either one and the same or sisters.

I was contacted by MoneyTree first; promised viable, current (60 days or less), credit approved customers that were 60% of the way done and needed a Realtor; I was the lucky one - right!

From MoneyTree I could have all the leads at once or I could have about 4 per week. As long as I was in good standing (meaning paid up for the month) with the company I would continue to get replacement leads for ANY reason.

Good thing for me this only cost me $200; then I was contacted by "Chris Haddock" of Epage listings.

He completely understood my apprehension (I explained by experience with MoneyTree). He sported one guarantee after the other and always referred to his "professional clients that have been with them for years".

So after being hounded with calls every 5 minutes insisting we needed to do this RIGHT NOW, I said

I needed a copy of the contract he wanted me to sign as well as REFERENCES...

He stuttered and stammered, talked in circles and finally said he would provide them if I called them immediately. That wasn't going to happen and I said so but that I would check them out in the morning.

His references:

REFERENCE #1 *** Norlune

The Money House

(401) 461-****

Google search and reverse look up showed:

First, this is probably another sister to "MoneyTree" and "Epage"

Second, this is supposedly a Mortgage Company

the address is a residence in Providence RI

The company has no website and there is nothing more than little tidbits that he may do mortgages.

REFERENCE #2 Tony Carcoza

Coldwell (Coldwell what? But this was to be his company)

(818) [hum 818 hum] 949-****

This is out of Pasadena Ca, which is interesting because Pasadena hasn't had 818 as an area code for over 10 years.

reverse look up showed it was a land line either unpublished or not available

Now this is a company and a Realtor to boot; wouldn't you want people to be able to find you if you were a REAL company?

Searching the name I found NOTHING!

REFERENCE #3 Anatole Murha

(734) 414-****

No company name

reverse look up: unpublished; land line

out of Plymouth, Michigan

Name search: NOTHING!

DO not let these good-for-nothing waste of skin outfits take your hard earned money!

They sit around in boiler rooms; cold calling in these hard times trying to get a bite and when they do you can hear cheering in the background - like the raunchy car sales man's bell.

Spend 25 minutes on EVERY company that contacts you to make sure they haven't stole from someone else and are waiting to reach you when times are tough and you'll take the chance on a bet - and they will make you fold.

IF YOU ARE involved and they have your credit card number - CANCEL it IMMEDIATELY!

Never use your bank card; ONLY use (if you have to try it) your respected Credit Card company that protects YOU the consumer against FRAUDS!

Epage listings do not deliver.

I tried Epage Listing for 3 weeks with a very similar result. Each morning I would follow up with each applicant via phone or email depending on what was provided.

Most of the applicants had already purchased or had no interest in buying/selling real estate. Quite often none of the information provided was valid. In our current market many companies are advertising quality leads but very few are actually able to deliver any of substance. Epage Listing has no problem with sending more names but more of nothing is still nothing.

Given the experience I had with Epage Listing, I would not recommend anyone using their service.

EPAGE LISTING

Epage Listing is scam. 24 hrs after signing the so cal contract, I decided to canceled, which they did but refused to refund my money.

I can't reach my rep. named Dave Goldman. Every lead they send me were 500 miles out of my area even though I give my zip codes.

The phone number used to get the money from my account is disconnected.Their main phone number is 818-444-****. This is a scam, don't fall for it.

Right now, I am trying to get my funds back from them. I am considering filing a lw suit againgst them if I don't get my money.

E-page listings

Horrible experience!! Never do any business with this company they use referrals that are old and give the same ones to all agents in the same area.

I filed a complaint with the CA Attorney General I want to bring them down...

I am in the process of sending a complaint to the Better Business Bureau of Ventura County, CA.

Ms. Julie Sugar was my contact it took me forever to get to the Customer Service Dept. a guy name Mark and he didn't do much for me and was always unavailable. This company is bad news read all the reviews before you do business with them.

They are also associated with a company called Money Tree; cheaper but the same scam! Let us band together and have this company (and any others) stopped!

EPageListing sends invalid leads as old as 6 months!!!

I agreed to try epage listing to receive leads for real estate. They convince you by saying that you can replace any leads that will not work out for "ANY" reason.

If they have an agent, are no longer interested, invalid number, etc. What they don't mention, is that although they do replace them...they are all as old as six months, and are upset and unaware that epage is forwarding their information. They cannot possibly give you their fico or purchase price, because they do not have sufficient information to do so.....an yet they do. Never use EpageListing!!!

They have horrible customer service, especially when dealing with a complaint...they ignore your calls, and only hide behind there inaccurate contract. It is a month to month contract that charges you upfront, so even if you are unhappy with the results, they will NEVER refund your money. I emailed, faxed, and verbally cancelled, and was told, (even though it doesn't mention it in the contract what method of cancellation will be accepted), I was told only the fax was accepted and charged an additional month.

I now have to put an actual block on my credit card, and request a refund through my credit card company for fraudulent advertising. I strongly urge you let anyone who is considering there services not to.

Everything negative that everyone is saying about that EPaglisting company is true. They should be investigated by the State Attorney General for misrepresenting their services.

I am a broker and appalled a shady company like this one can be in operation.

They lie about what their true product is in order to get your money. Stay away!

I am a Realtor and have used various other lead services with relatively good results. This company is truly just a scam ... I was called by them that they had a lead in my area that wanted to purchase a home. Long story short there was no verifiable lead, the person had no idea what I was talking about and none of the other leads were in the area that I subscribed to.

I was told that I would receive replacement leads or a refund. This also not the truth, I received no refund for them only more leads that were out of my area. Also the 90 day refund period was a lie, I was told that if I was not satisfied I would receive a 100% refund. Not the case, I have made numerous calls sent faxes and they never refunded my money or returned my calls. I was told many times that I would receive a refund but am still without my $1000.00 refund, after several more phone calls and receiving no answer not receiving a response to my voice messages.

Please stay away from this company as they are just taking advantage of Realtors during tough economic times.

I am reading all the blogs and i got to say that i am surprised, very surprised; i got an email from them and called. I was sold on the idea and started with the first month and now into the second month and i got to say that surprisingly I did get one listing and two interested buyers, and after reading this i started to wonder so i asked the agent what the deal was and he stated that they have thousands of clients and will always have a few dozen complain, which i find is true.

SO TO ALL THE WINERS its not fair to slam a company just because it didn’t work for you.

I advertized with the Chicago times and spent over $1200 and got squat, but you don’t here me complain and slam their company. I am not saying that all the leads are good, but its better then others i have tried

Guest

Andy, YOU ARE FULL OF IT!!

I am a broker and did not recieve ONE good lead. All too old! Realtor's know how to work a lead when it's a good one.

Guest

I cancelled my E-Page agreement today. The so called leads were the worst I have ever encountered.

I was told they were a bout a week old, but leads I contacted told me they bought 6 months ago, or they could not speak or understand English, or they were from over 100 miles away, or the phone or e-mail address was bogus, or the lead never remembered asking to be contacted by a Realtor, etc., etc., etc. STAY AWAY--FAR AWAY--FROM E-PAGE LISTING--In my opinion---it is a really seamy scam operation.

A lot of lies. No substance whatsoever.

Guest

Please understand I am not getting anything out of "trash" talking Epage. But, Natalie Giraldo of Epage is the worst customer service care representative I have ever come across.

They charge you up front, and will NEVER refund if unsatisfied.

They hold themselves to their contract, because they don't have a good reputation, or service to back them up! Don't be fooled, and invest your money in ANYTHING but Epage!!!

I am currently in a month to month contract with epage. Things started out VERY rocky and unreliable however; I do now get a good response from their customer service department.

I am on my second month and still no contracts yet.

I am giving it this month and then probably cancelling. Most of my leads have been OLD, or the clients bought and closed on their house already!

Just got a fax today...decided to look up to see if they were a REALTOR...nope..so on to google search and found this. THANKS for saving me the headache!

Just received an email from an Epage employee asking me if I can assist her clients looking to buy/sell in my area; is this legit or are they fishing for my business? Had to google them before answering.
