Really poor customer service

I bought a course with an exam. The course was ok but the materials had been reused from an earlier edition without anybody bothering to proofread them as there were references to the earlier course, which left me wondering whether any other parts of the material were out-of-date.

I had a problem with the exam code that they sent me and they gave me inaccurate information about why it wasn't working and told me it'd be resolved within 24 hours. Four days later, I chased it to be told that the exam wasn't actually available and to request a refund. Then I received an email to say they'd give me a code to book my exam elsewhere so I wasn't getting the refund they'd told me to request 15 minutes earlier. Still, I wasn't sent a code when they said that I would be and I had to chase it again.

Their support staff just talk at you in a robotic way and never actually answer questions or reply to what you've said to them.

I've sent two emails querying why I was told I'd get a refund as they can't offer what I paid for and one about making a complaint and they haven't acknowledged any of it. Really rude.

E-Careers ***

I purchased 2014 GRAPHIC DESIGN & WEBMASTER 44 COURSE from E-Careers for (what seemed like) an amazing deal for £99 down from £2500 (allegedly) last week. During a couple of phone conversations with a seemingly pleasant lady it was clearly stated that the software WILL be provided (this consisted of 44 Grapic Design programs, mostly Adobe).

I was so psyched.

Anyway today when loggin on and trying to start it I was met with only tutorials (couldnt find ANY part of their website where to download the software from). I had a brief online chat with a staff member explaining. She said the course doesent come with the software and I would have to purchase it myself.

Further into the conversation the rep just kept repeating 'we provide 24 blah blah' nonsense which I already knew. She then forwarded me to her 'Line Manager'. I went into further detail, giving names of people I spoke to, dates etc. She then tried to fog me off by saying 'We DO provide the software but for people who are on a course or exam' lol.

I linked her the title of the 'Course' saying 'this IS a course though'.(contradiction 1) then again she tried to weasel out of it saying 'On our website it clearly states software is not provided' (contradiction 2). I read their terms and conditions by the way and there was NOTHING about Software not being provided. She then went to say because it's something they dont provide they dont need to put it on their website (contradiction 3). Anyway I think they realised they messed up BIG time because they then changed their tone and said they wil get back to me in 24-48 hours.

now im no fool. This seems to be the standard modus operandi for when a company is exposed as liars and they rarely get back intouch.

But i made it quite clear should I not hear anything back in 48 hours I will be refering the case to the Advertising Complaints Comission AND Trading Standards. I am also waiting on phone conversation records from my telecoms company as proof.

E-Careers

I've been scammed by e-Careers. Simon and Amit mis-sold the course and I ended up buying something that I do not want and did not intend to buy. After trying to take this up with their management I was told that they couldn't find the call recordings of the conversations I had with these guys, proving what I was told and that I would have to pay the full price again for the course that I already thought that I paid for! Plus on top of that, their course content, practice exams and LMS is useless! I would not recommend buying a course from them!

Another point is that they are using a very questionable sales tactic to try to manipulate customers into purchasing their courses. They are sending an email to their database saying that someone else has cancelled a course and they can offer a very special discount because the course has already been paid for.

This is a complete fallacy since they actually offer the course at the same price as they would normally! They are scammers and should be put out of business for misrepresentation.

I have the same problem. I wanted to do a PC Technician course and was duped into doing a Microsoft master package......Nothing at all to do with the subject that i wanted but was told it had everything that i required!

After complaining I was met with a *** answer and I am deeply deeply pissed off! I am unemployed and now £730 out of pocket.

The sales guys are complete tossers who just want to sell you anything! If I knew a route to go down I would take this company to the cleaners!
