I decided to rent 4 movies and brought them back two days later and I look st my card statements of 11.34,11.99,11.99 & 17.99 . I called rebox and they state they can only give me half of the money back. I’m so pissed off and I’m never using redbox again.

Rented a movie, dropped it on the way to the car. Movie is lost, looked up the purchase price $3.99.
Called them, if rented you cannot purchase till the rental expires $30.00! They could find the transaction in a few minutes but cant convert it to a sale.
That is the definition of a rip-off plain and simple. Lost my bussiness forever.

I usually rent two movies a weekend, but since they installed their new and improved website, it's such a chore to get a second movie, or to get the "genres" to actually open, that I just close the app. I know that's not much.
Only two movies every weekend, but what about all the other people that are experiencing the exact same difficulties that I am? And they cancel their order due to frustration also. That's a lot of money.
And please get rid of the damn ads. They take up more screen than the actual app itself.
Redbox - Highly questionable billing practices

I rented a movie from Redbox. It was my understanding they took the money out of my bank account on that day.
Circumstances and forgetfulness contributed me to returning it late. Now, almost 3 weeks later, they deducted $12.18 out of the blue from my checking account. That money was there for a friend to take an Uber to his cancer surgeon's appointment. When I contacted Redbox, they said they took the money out initially then put it back and took a larger amount due to the rental time (without notice, weeks later).
I don't mind paying what I owe, but I believe the way they went about this is sneaky and wrong, with real world consequences, and I want it documented. I will never use Redbox again and plan to complain to anyone who will listen.
Family Video - Belleville, IL. dvds won't play

Every time I rent a dvd in their Belleville, IL. locations.
They freeze and skip halfway into a movie. The boxes they come in are dirty and sticky too.
They say sorry and go back to playing on phones. Employees are lazy and gross.
Redbox - Double charged

Rented two movies from Redbox. One had a $0.75 .
discount it came to 2.94$ they did their pre-authorization. And then return the 2.94$ which is normal even though I feel it's stupid.
I returned the movies the next morning and they charged the post-op $2.94 which is fine but then charged another $2.94 pre-authorization . I called Redbox to see what was going on with the third charge and their customer service employee told me they cannot see the third charge at all and I would have to call my bank in order to figure out what was going on.
Netflix - First DVD choice was never sent

Added my first choice DVD several days ago but when I checked later it was not even in the queue. They sent me something that was way lower on my queue. So what is the point of a queue???
