Terrible service. Have been on the phone on hold for over an hour. Generator came with missing parts to wheel kit and cannot get through to anyone.

Generator came in with missing parts to the wheel kit. I have been on hold for over an hour now. Ordered the generator from Home Depot and they told me I had to call Duramax. I have called customer service and have tried every extension and no success.

User's recommendation: I would not recommend this product if you cannot get a hold of anyone to help you.

Generator won't run on gas only propane !! I 've been waiting for service to send me a switch which they think is the problem ,but I never received the switch. I want to return the generator !!these generators !!

No service and no communications

durostar ds4850eh generator is faulty for 220 ac voltage, gauge shows 220vac and output at load is 358vac which causes issues with the loads and internal damage to same. sent various emails and tried calling for over a week and no response. need something done or repaired to be able to use.

Wont start

Have XP 15000. Brand new, paid $3k - will not start. Called support and have to take to a service center to fix it. The thing weighs ~300lbs - not an easy ask. In the mean time, a tropical storm is forecast and I have no generator. Will NEVER buy another Duromax product.

User's recommendation: Stay away from Duromax; Purchase a Generac or Honda instead.
