The Dueber Watch Co. ripped my off.
I purchased a very expensive pocket watch from the online Dueber Watch Co. It was intended to be a special life-long keepsake for my military son. After only 24 hours, it broke. It was not the result of being dropped or damaged in any way. I contacted the company and was told that they would not replace the item. Their excuse was that their warranty had loophole exclusions. I feel that any product that breaks after only 24 hours of very gentle use should be replaced without exception. If the product is so poorly made that its life expectancy is 24 hours, then they are in the business of scamming customers not providing quality merchandise.
