Terrible ethics from a company

This company allows sales staff to use explicit sexual language very offensive conversations for example 2 salesmen hanging out that night at a strip club offering the *** a $1000 for !!! The sharing of doing Molly!!! (Drugs) loaded and laughing making fun right in front of a older woman who is the receptionist. I witnessed this called the GM (RYAN C) just to share my concern hoping he would address the issue as this also violates a red flag rule for the organization and I did the right thing consulting management. He states if I dont like the culture here, than this is not the place for you and fired me!!!

Loss:
$30000
Cons:
  • Everything including the management

Preferred solution: Filing a lawsuit for violating a red flag rule of the company and sexual discrimination.

User's recommendation: My recommendation is consider first how they also charge a markup for a vehicle that should be accessible to all easily and the ethics of this dealership speak for themselves.

Bait and swtich business practice

Car dealership posted a "bait and switch" used truck advertisement (2019 Ford F-150 XLT with Lariat package; 21,000 miles (ca. 33,796 km), clean carfax) with a deliberate false claim that the posted vehicle was available for purchase. Email and text confirmation by customer service employee, Samir, who perpetuated a 'sham deal' x 5 consecutive days that caused me to expend round trip airfare (Hawaii to California ) and accommodation to conclude the deal on the basis of our belief that this was legitimate. Within 2 hours of our agreed-upon meeting at the dealership on 5/27/2020, to complete the purchase, we were told by Samir, that the vehicle had been "purchased" but he "had other vehicles available". When confronted with the deceit of the sham transaction, Samir texted that we were 'psychotic emotionally unstable' individuals. This employee and the dealership he represents defines the lowest standard of business ethics for perpetrating a fraudulent transaction resulting in real economic losses and hardship at multiple levels.

Dublin Hyundai is the Worst Car Dealership Ever

THIS IS THE WORST CAR DEALERSHIP ON THE PLANET BUYER BEWARE--- AVOID THIS PLACE, Dublin Hyundai, LIKE THE PLAGUE These folks are "snake oil salesmen" personified, the stereotypical sleazy car salesmen are alive and working in Dublin at the Dublin Hyundai dealership. I wish Yelp allowed a negative star option as these folks deserve it. I took my 71 year old mother to go used car shopping on Sunday. We were very excited to test drive a car we had seen online and thought stupidly that we'd have fun purchasing a new car for her. How incredibly naive. Instead, we received the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. First, we were ignored for 20 minutes. Then she was told that she had to fill out paperwork with all sorts of personal information in order for a sales agent to speak to us. I objected saying they didn't need all her personal information, including her SS# to talk to us about a car. They said it was just a formality to expedite our experience, so she agreed to fill out their paperwork, she really wanted to see the car. Then they went and ran her credit report without permission!!! She has amazing credit (790), but how dare they when we hadn't even been allowed to speak to anyone and had not expressed our intent to purchase anything. Because the main sales agent was still "too busy to talk to us", an interim slimy sales agent then came back and forth scribbling numbers on random sheets of paper, trying to negotiate a sale. Luckily, we had done our homework, visiting other car dealerships and realized that none of this transaction was making any sense. The price was way over Blue Book and all the math was way off. What a mess! They didn't even itemize the different charges, hoping to find a complete sucker I guess. When we expressed our intent on leaving and asked for the paperwork back, they clicked into "high pressure mode" saying what is going to take, etc.. We said, "thank you, but no thank you" and asked for our paperwork back. They said they would get it on numerous occasions, but to wait a moment. We were then left sitting at a table for an additional 45 minutes in the weirdest game where various sales agents would come back & forth keeping us in limbo, promising to return with the paperwork. Finally, we got up to leave and were informed by "the manager Mark" that "due to state law they had to keep our paperwork on file". It makes me terrified that my mom's personal information is now in the hands of these incredibly unsavory types. We intend to file a Better Business Bureau complaint against this outfit. Please learn from our mistakes, save yourself the heartache and STEER CLEAR.

I agree with you 100%. They are the worst of the sleazy car salesmen.

They will lie to your face with a smile. The main sales manager (can't remember his name, but he's a tall obese guy who looks like a typical car salesman) is a manipulator. There's nothing honest about this guy. He did the same things with main as the main posters' grandma, but also got pissed at me for not wanting to pay what he was "offering" me.

Here was this General Sales Manager of Dublin Hyundai telling me I'm being unreasonable for not paying $2000 over blue book, and using a tone like I'm his unreasonable teenage son. I told him if he can't do it for what I want, no problem, I'll go somewhere else.. it's no big deal to me. Then he goes to the 'back office' again and again to try and make it work, and I just walked out.

These guys are schmucks! The young kids working there are fine, they don't know any better.. but the management folks are really really bad.

I've bought 7 cars in the past 8 years from dealers, and this is by far the worst dealership I've been too.

I've been to them all in the East Bay and South Bay, these guys are something else. AVOID!
