Bought a used motor. It never ran well.
Poor starting, would not idle at all. Brought it back. Wanted my money back. Duanes said no.
Offered to trade it in on a new motor. They still said no on that. They took in it and said they fixed it. put it in the lake and it still ran rough and finally would not start at all.
Traded it in at another dealer along with a new boat. Will not do business at this place anymore.

- - It sat 2 1/2 weeks with no work.
- - Bottom line: don't do business with Duanes Marine in Virginia, MN.
BROUGHT MY BOAT THERE IN SUMMER OF 2015 . BOB THE OWNER SAID THEY WOULD FIX IT RIGHT AWAY.
IT SAT THERE 2 1/2 WEEKS AND THEY DID NOTHING.SUMMERS ARE VERY SHORT HERE IN INTL FALLS,MN. SO I CALLED ANOTHER DEALER HE SAID HE WOULD FIX IT RIGHT AWAY AND HE HAS A GOOD REPUTATION.SO I PICKED UP MY BOAT AND BOB CALLED THE SHERIFF AND SAID I STOLE A BOAT AND DIDNT PAY MY BILL. THERE WAS NO STORAGE IT WAS THERE FOR REPAIRS.THEY NEVER TOUCHED THE BOAT EITHER. HOW DO YOU STEAL YOUR OWN BOAT AND THERE IS NO MORTGAGE.
I TOLD THE SHERIFF AND THEY CALLED THE INSURANCE ADJUSTER AND HE CONFIRMED MY STORY . SHERIFF LEFT THEN.
BOTTOM LINE DONT ANYONE DO BUSINESS WITH DUANES MARINE IN VIRGINIA,MN. 55792
