  • Recent recommendations regarding this business are as follows: "They are the biggest scammers. MR LUKWAN asked me to provide them with Digital Marketing services and now when all work is completed they are not ready to pay. He owe's me USD 2200. Don't trust this company. MR KWAN lies and lies and kept promising that the money will be paid and its more than 45 days but still no money. His intensions are not clear and he is scamming big time. PLEASE be very vigilant and take ADVANCE MONEY before you provide any services to this Company", "Do not trust this business. The owner, Kwan, operates with unethical and deceptive practices behind the scenes. Based on my direct experience working for the company: He hires workers under false pretenses and refuses to pay them for their time. He pressures staff to generate fake 5-star reviews and misleads cleaners with shady contracts. He ignores labor laws and exploits people in vulnerable situations, including demanding unpaid overtime and making false payment promises. Any 5-star reviews you see may not be genuine — many were requested or fabricated under duress. I strongly urge customers and job seekers alike to avoid DHL2L Elite Cleaning. If this is how he treats employees, imagine how your service might be handled.".

Wage theft, misrepresentation, labor exploitation, and unethical practices

Drifted Hughes l2l Elite Cleaning - Wage theft, misrepresentation, labor exploitation,...

I was hired by Kwan, the owner of https://dhl2lelitecleaning.com/, on June 6th, 2025. He made it mandatory for me and another person he had hired to attend a training session on Sunday, promising us $20 compensation (which I have in writing).

However, he never paid us for that training.

We officially started working for him on Monday, June 9th. I was added to his Indeed Employer Account and hired as HR, with the task of recruiting cleaners. I was hired for 25 hours per week, but on the very first day, he insisted that he was losing money and demanded that I finish the work assigned effectively forcing me to work 10 hours instead of 5. I have written communication where he was pressuring me to do so.

The same happened the next day.

When I questioned him on Slack about my work hours, he gave vague responses, and after a brief argument, he called me to calm the situation and told me to take Friday off. However, I still ended up working another 10-hour day.

From Day 1, I requested a time tracker, which he kept delaying, saying he would figure it out. I reminded him again on Tuesday. It wasnt until Wednesday that the tracker was finally set up.

There are a few critical issues that require urgent attention:

On Indeed, he was hiring people using our names, and his intentions are not transparent.

He asked me to prepare SOPs and job descriptions and told me to keep everything in a grey area.

When I objected, he said, You dont know much just do what Im saying.

He sent me a sample agreement to forward to the cleaners we were hiring. The agreement was shady, labeling them as independent contractors and stating they would only be paid after the job was completed and a 5-star review was received.

He instructed me to tell every candidate that the company requires a 5-star review. I followed his instructions initially, not realizing the full extent of his intentions.

He pressured me excessively, made me work overtime, and now refuses to pay, offering various excuses

You didnt do a good job,

You argue too much,

You didnt sign up for Gusto,

You were late by 1.5 hours (I was only 5 minutes late).

He knew my husband was seriously ill and that we were struggling financially, and used that vulnerability to exploit me. He promised weekly pay, later changed it to bi-weekly, and then said I wouldnt be paid for 30 days.

He is a scammer and is manipulating everyone he can reach.

He even instructed us to post fake reviews on Google and threatened to hold our pay when we refused to participate in the deception.

He eventually sent us an offer letter mentioning a $75 weekly rate, but later claimed it wasnt weekly. He kept saying that even if it takes 15 hours, the work must be completed to catch up because hes "losing money."

He never had us sign any formal documents, despite repeated requests. He always had excuses.

This is a clear case of fraud, misrepresentation, and wage theft. He is currently hiring more people including U.S.

residents who are likely to become victims.

If you review our Slack communications, you will see that I asked him for a company account to communicate with employees, which he kept delaying with false promises.

I am requesting help in recovering my hard-earned money. We worked tirelessly including late nights simply because that was the time he required us to be online.

I have screenshots and written proof to support every claim made here and am happy to share them upon request.

Please help.
