A complete scam artist. Wanted in El Paso for assault and theft. On probation in Bexar county for theft. Too many civil judgements against him for either not completing the job or not doing the job, check Bexar County District Clerk website to search and view the judgements against him. Civil judgements also against him in Harris County, Houston TX for not paying bills or scamming large companies. He has scammed San Antonio residents for too long, he also likes to scam homeowners in Guadalupe and Comal Counties, too. He says he can do pool decking and spas, but he lies, he isn't licensed to do any of this work. The only spray deck he sprays his own "loose" deck. The only concrete work he has ever had a license to do is curbs, check with the Bexar county licensing department. Look in the WOAI news archives for a story about one of his victims. The Texas Attorney General office has a book on him, and the Better Business Bureau report on Dream Resurfacing owned by David Avalos is just a small look into the trouble this cad can cause if you "hire" him to do a job - you can't hire a *** artist - you can only feed his wallet.

This company steals from the elderly. Owner David Avalos has a felony conviction in Bexar county for theft of services not rendered against elderly. Check the Bexar county District Clerk website for his past civil convictions. Check the Texas State DPS sight for his criminal convictions. He is not licensed to do work. He has open warrants for his arrest in El Paso for assault and theft. He threatens his customers verbally. There is a news story about one of his victims in the WOAI archives online, you can search for it using the company name. Call Bexar county DA prosecutor Joann Woodruff if he scams you. She is in charge of the theft against the elderly. He hasn't paid his business tax, and is wanted for that, too, so he moves around a lot and doesn't have any property in his name. Be wary of this individual and do not hire him to do any work.

Dream Resurfacing a scam. Owner David Avalos takes money (cash or check) and either doesn't do work or does shoddy job. Has numerous civil suit judgements against him, check Bexar county District Clerk website to see them, it is available online to public. Owner has numerous criminal actions against him, too, is on probation in Bexar county right now for theft of services not rendered. Owner doesn't show for court if you sue him in civil court. Owner is not licensed to do any work right now, check with Bexar county license department - he has to go before a review board to explain why he is doing work other than what he was initially licensed to do (curbs only). Owner has scammed individuals in Guadalupe county, in Comal county too, where has placed liens on homeowner's property for refusing to pay him for shoddy work. Owner has open warrants for his arrest in El Paso for assault and theft. He has a past in Houston, Texas too for not paying his bills. If you do an Internet search, you will find a number of addresses for him, he moves his scheme around San Antonio often because he doesn't want customers or the Bexar county tax office to get him, he hasn't paid the business taxes he owes, either. He also likes to give customers phony addresses of where he lives, too. Be very wary of this business, and he brings his wife with him to a lot of jobs, too. Authorities won't do much too him, he knows how to play the game real well, so beware.
