Word to the wise- do NOT buy from Dream Finders (aka Dream Crushers), but even more important to steer clear of Jet Home Loans- Dream Finders is a part owner of that company as well, and it allows DF to get away with closing homes before they are complete. ALSO- hire an attorney to review the sales contract and a home inspector to inspect the home at drywall, pre-final walk, and final IF you are already committed.
PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS...if not, they will eat your lunch. We've been through this in 2020.
We're having to spend $ as if we'd bought a fixer-upper. :-(
How is this company still in business?
You are FAR from alone. I live in Colorado, gave a 45 item warranty punchlist at the 11 month walk through last NOVEMBER (2021), and not ONE item has been started, much less completed!
In fact, in my subdivision you can easily spot the Dream Finder houses- they all have cracked, sunken, separated concrete in front while other builders' homes look beautiful and new as they ALL should. SOMEHOW, ALL of us need to organize and get the attention of our states' Attorneys General to investigate and get these people run out of every state they're building in. It will cost us another 100k to fix our brand new home to standards, and it is beyond depressing. Meanwhile the DF fat cats are billionaires, and don't remotely care that they're running scams.
DEPLORABLE, filthy people! I am sure they don't treat employees much better because they are clearly rewarding bad behavior.
Hot water issue
Delay home construction.
Unprofessional
In a legal battle with them as well over their unethical business practices. And what your sales person said doesn’t surprise me. Brad Musten division President is crooked and worked for KB HOMES who also would find reasons to fire sales people to keep their commissions.

Agreed. Horrible lack of communication from the salesperson, major attitude if you dare to ask a question, and have caught them in lies.
The sales manager has told us they are using the two years to build your home to its fullest extent, and the lender has said they move closings from two weeks to three months.
This is their preferred lender! I wish I had never signed up with them.
