I posted two comments under "lied to and ripped off" for Vladimir Grigoryants in Glendale California. They posted as Vladimir Grigoryants in Columbia and in San Fernando.

I don't know how that happened. There is no Vladimir Grigoryants in Columbia or San Fernando.

I had a rhinoplasty 2 years ago with this doctor and so far I’m less than happy. Every time I email I’m being told my nose is swollen but the last time I got told my nose is crooked and wider cause of my cell camera. When you spend all this money, it sucks to be told “my patients are happy, no one complains that I made their nose crooked and asymmetrical wider” Dr Grigoryants credentials looked good but now I know its all one big scam.

I regret every day for going with Dr. G.

:( I was amazed by all the photos I saw on Dr. G’s website and Instagram. I was young and naive and thought there’s no way he can screw up my nose because he has 12 years experience and been in this industry for long. I emailed him with photos and got an email back after only 1 hour saying “I will shave your hump, lift and refine the tip and shorten the nostrils”.

I figured he must know what he’s talking about. I emailed him wish photos and he guaranteed he can give me what I want. My half Hispanic and Caucasian parents, especially my mom were against it cause they thought my nose was fine. I had a nice tip, just I had a hump.

Dr. G told me he does so many noses and to trust his advise. I paid $9,800, it was my entire inheritance from grandpop. I regret I used his hard earned money for a botched nose.

I couldn’t wait to be more better looking. I wanted to look good by the time I started law school and I wanted more confidence. I think also I wanted to have a nose like my bf’s at the times ex. 3 days before I had the surgery I saw Dr G for consultation.

I texted my mom when I went into the consultation. She told me good luck. I took along photos on my cell and from magazines to show the style I wanted. I made sure to show him what I wanted.

He was very quick and short with me. He said he has it covered and will do an awesome job. I was told to read and sign a bunch of papers. My mom always told me not sign papers unless they read everything.

I was trying to read but Dr. G was rushing me, cause he wanted to see other patients. I asked if I could take them to read in the waiting place but he said no I have to sign now. To cut a long story short it’s not possible to read through that pile in the 1 minute I was given so I went against my mom’s advise and signed.

I regret I did this. I texted my mom when the consultation was over and she was like “that was quick! Are you sure 15 minutes is enough like to discuss a life altering very expensive surgery?!” I thought I knew it all but looking back my mom was right. He didn’t do any morphs which my mom wasn’t happy about.

She couldn’t understand how I could trust him when I didn’t know what I was going to look like. I thought there’s no way he’s gonna screw up. You should know in the papers there are some dodgy stuff that fully covers him if anything goes wrong but it doesn’t cover me. He can mess up and I can’t do anything.

Beware of arbitration agreement. :( I had the surgery and I was happy for the first hour after cast removal cause he told me it’s just swollen and it’s gonna look great after 1 year and a half. I became depressed. I didn’t eat and I couldn’t see my friends.

I split up with my bf and I let my parents down cause I couldnt start law school. My nose is screwed. My tip was lifted and totally rearranged when that’s not the look I was after. I trusted Dr.

G’s judgment but he didn’t stick to the nose style I wanted. He reassured me it’s just swelling. I waited until 18 months and it didn’t get better, it really got worse. I was left with a missing tip that didn’t droop like a normal nose should when I smile, I had 2 giant nostril holes and my nose was made wider cause he put 2 cartilage grafts 3cm x 1.5 these are sizes of one of them.

There called spreader grafts. I wasn’t told I was gonna be put into an experiment he is doing with his wife called “the use of extended spreader grafts in primary rhinoplasty”. I found all this online snd when I reached out to the medical board of California and I’m shocked. Surgeries for experiment shouldn’t cost the patient anything but I wasn’t told about this.

I would never have signed for all this and to get a wider piggy look. I wasn’t aware that the tools used in my nose are olden days tools that are too aggressive on the tissues and bones so when a hump is shaved, it damages the bridge and that’s why I had to get spreader grafts cause inverted v was made in my surgery. If I could do this again I’d go to a doctor who makes morphs and isn’t into cookie cutting to do quick surgeries. Customized surgeries take a lot of time cause the doctor has to put a lot of thought and give a nose to suit that patient but with cookie cutter nose job (shave hump, lift and refine the tip and shorten nostrils is cheaper for the doctor cause then they don’t go over one and a half hours so the anesthesiologists pay is lower.

Surgeries over one hour and a half costs more expensive cause anesthesiologists pay goes up. My tip was lifted when I didn’t even have an abnormal droopy tip I had a normal tip which was leveled at rest but dropped slightly but nicely when I smiled. That’s what normal noses do! My tip is missing and all tightly scarred up.

Dr G said it could all be fixed under twilight sedation for an office touch up. I made another error. My mom told me I shouldn’t trust him to fix it cause she heard revisions aren’t his speciality and she said I can’t trust him when he couldn’t even get the first surgery right. I trusted the doctor and went for my revision.

I regret this! A major regret! I left with a more botched nose and my ear totally screwed caused he took grafts from behind my ear and put it in my tip. My nose is botched caused a) it’s not the style I wanted, b) it’s wider c) it’s piggy and short My bridge doesn’t look attractive.

My beautiful eyes look weird now cause the radix was raised and thick grafts were put into my bridge. Dr. G said my old bridge was narrow and he thinks wide bridges make women look young. Problem is age was never part of the discussion.

I have the same nose as my 4 year old niece and on a grown woman that’s not a good look! My bridge is horribly wide. My career of getting into law is over. I am depressed and spend my days on the emergency hotline for rock bottom people with depression.

My old Hispanic nose was like Penelope Cruz. I had a great tip just a little hump. The nose I got is like Sissy Spacek! My face is ruined.

It’s been 4 years and my tip didn’t drop back down. It’s all scarred up and it can’t be reversed cause the tip doesn’t move when I smile so if it’s gonna be lowered I’ll hsvd a droopy tip when I never had a droopy tip as such. It was lifted just when I smiled it drooped normally. This nose doesn’t droop even when I force smile.

My nose has two big nostril holes and I regret I went to Dr. G. My parents don’t have the money for a revision and I’m stuck with a ridiculous sissy spacek nose! Ive been looking at all the negative reviews online.

Typing doctor’s name followed by botched, negative reviews, complaints and there’s tons! Yesterday I wanted to see the doctor’s Instagram (by the way I left a comment to say I’m not happy last year but I got blocked by the doctor) so I used my mom’s computer. When I type the doctor’s name in Instagram search bar I’m shocked at all the accounts I see.

I didn’t realize all this :( By choosing the wrong doctor my entire life is just ruined to bits. My chance to be a lawyer and to make my parents proud is all ruined.

Oh poor thing! It is unfair that a patient has to suffer like that.

He also blamed my functional problems to allergies and told me to go with a spray. I never had allergies before my surgery.

How can you develop allergies overnight over having a surgery? My ENT doctor said there is hardly any septum left in my nose a said that my plastic surgeon went overboard with my nose.

I’m up now in the middle of the night struggling to breathe and having to listen to whistle sounds inside my nose. He destroyed everything about my nose. It doesn’t function no more and my nose is asymmetric after his surgery

I’m sorry to hear he destroyed your nose too. :(He is FAR from an artist.

He started posted fake positive reviews for himself 10 years ago and began using words such as “artist”, “Rhinoplasty God”, “Michaelangelo of Rhinoplasty”, “Humble”, “Caring”, “kind”, “honest” etc etc. He destroyed the whole of my nose too! I am now paralyzed as a result because he cut off vital nerves.Whenever he botches a patient, he uses the excuse “swelling”, “fish eye lens camera affect” etc etc.

he deliberately makes patients wait over a year because that is when the statue of limitations expire and patients can’t sue him then.He is unfit to be practicing and all the patients whose bodies and faces he destroyed should get together and protest outside the medical board to ban him from practicing! Period.Horrible horrible physician.

I have the same issue with my nose. I was told by another surgeon that Grigoryants jacked my nose up too high and that he could see up my nostrils.

I have a wide pig nose that is even more turned up than before. I thought he was the holy grail of nose surgeons and I thought I would step out of his office with confidence for the first time in my life. No such thing. Still in the same 20 year rut.

Afraid to go to another surgeon to fix and can't afford like you. Really sad.
