Unprofessional waste of time

I called this office back in November for an appointment. Was told they have to first verify my insurance before Im allowed to schedule an appointment.

About a week later Im verified I schedule an appointment for January. Im told the day before its a phone appointment which I NEVER GOT THE CALL. After a spectacular display of unprofessional behavior Im told the doctor is not taking any new patients at this time.

I could be wrong but shouldnt that have been determined in that week I was being verified? All the time Ive waited to be seen I could my issue reviewed, addressed and resolved.
