Bait and switch.
I found a red 2014 Frontier on the internet inventory page. I called and arranged the purchase, which they wanted to complete TODAY !!. Since it was a holiday weekend and I live more than two hours away, I put it off till Tuesday. Called that morning to confirm purchase and was told all was ready. When I arrived I was told of some "missing" items that would be delivered later. Not until after the two hour drive home did I discover there was "more" missing from the equipment as posted ( back-up camera). Numerous calls between parties before I was told to read the disclaimer on the web page and that they would not be providing the rest of the listed equipment as the salesman had first agreed. Not even a so much as "we're sorry for the mix-up" has ever come from them. The other missing equipment they did send, arrived UPS and I was able to go on line a figure out how to install myself. A nice facility and friendly people, but for the most part it was just a façade !!
Downtown Nashville Nissan, TN.... Untruthful and Poorly Managed
1. Bought car mid Sept with understanding that I would receive a $ 100 gift card if I provided a referral who purchased a car. 2. Friend bought car a few days later, thus qualifying me to receive the gift card. 3. Mid October, still no gift card. Called Natasha, left a message reminding her. 4. Later October received a call from someone in accounting saying it was the end of the month, closing out books, and could they send the gift card in early November. I said sure. 5. December....no gift card yet. 6. Called Natasha again, left message that my patience was running thin and I expected to get my $ 100. 7. No response. 8. Dec. 10th called and asked for the General Sales Manager, Jason. Left a message asking him to call me. No call. 9. Dec. 13th called and asked for the General Sales Manager, Jason. Left a message asking him to call me. No call. 10. Dec. 17th called and asked the receptionist to put a note on Jason's desk asking him to call me. No call. 11. Dec. 19th called and asked for the General Sales Manager, Jason. Left a message asking him to call me. No call. 12. To date I've not had one returned call from Jason. What happened to "service after the sale"? What type of business snubs it nose at customers and refuses to return a call over a measly $ 100. 13. Many weeks ago this became about much more than them owing me $ 100. Something is wrong with the management at the dealership if this is how they have chosen to treat their customers. 14. I love my car but NEVER would recommend this dealership to anyone. I'm so sorry that I didn't make my purchase with Tim at Cool Springs Nissan, which is where I began my search. I eventually wound up at Downtown Nashville Nissan as they had exactly the car I wanted on the lot at the price I could afford to pay. 15. I have shared my story with 12 close 'dinner club' friends. One of those friends wants to buy, from Go Daddy, the domain name "DowntownNashvilleNissanSucks.com". People are outraged to hear my story. I will be posting it on Facebook soon and other social media. I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT THIS DEALERSHIP DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR WORD and THEY WON'T EVEN RETURN A PHONE CALL TO DISCUSS THE MATTER.
