Downeast agreed to lowering the price $1.00 per gallon, but this was still $1.00 more than all the competitors. Going forward they said that they will put me in a lower cost bracket!
I have been a customer for over 6 years and have always had the same yearly usage, so what is the explanation? No one at Downeast can tell me, but my price has climbed higher & higher over the last few years.

I have been a customer of Downeast Energy for over 6 years. I have given them business for my Propane, K1, Furnace Replacement, & Hot Water Tank Replacement. In August 2018 I paid $5.31 a gallon for propane, then on 11/20/2018 I paid $6.05. After checking the state average and calling 6 local companies the prices ranged from $3.21 to $4.27 per gallon. I was told I needed to speak to a supervisor and was told they could take $1.00 off per gallon for the last delivery, but that is still about $1.00 more than any other companies. Needless to say I received a credit of $16.08 after spending $609.88 in propane over a 3 month period. This is just not right! Due to the time of year I need to wait until March or April to switch tanks with another company. As of today I have only received a credit of less than $.50 off per gallon.
