Not Good! Not sure how or why but we were never contacted by the Missoula Health Department. I understand they clean and gut the chickens on site. Gross!

Never going back. Don't like the place weird small and it is a dive. Once prior we were there and a fight broke out in the bar. Not sure why we went back. We contacted Trip Advisor and they would not post the review. Trip Advisor if you don't know are in trouble for not reporting rapes at hotels and resorts. I looked at the Trip Advisor and some of the reviews were obviously written by the management.

The original link above explains our experience. We had about $7500 in medical bills and part of that was deductible. Talking to attorney but we are not the suing type.

Ok, i admit i don't like greasy fried food. This was not my choice to eat here.

There were 12 of us and our friends used to eat here in college. We sat downstairs in the bar. The place is a dive. There was an odd odor and the place looks like it was built in about 1970.

I was later told that they clean the chicken in a room off of the basement? Are you joking? 12 people order. I get a salad.

45 minutes of so later 5 or 6 of us got our meal. We thought waitress would go get the rest and everything would be fine. 5, 10, 15 minutes later no food. One of our party went upstairs and comes back says the rest of our food was in route.

I don't know if this excites you that half the people in your party are eating and you are sitting there. 5 minutes later 3 more orders show up. Are you kidding me!! So now we are eating in shifts.

The people eating the chicken are saying the food is salty and greasy. The people who suggest Double Front are apologizing and saying the food isn't nearly as good as it was. Another 10 to 15 minutes the rest of our order shows up. The first people to be served are done eating.

It was a joke and nobody was impressed with the food. On a side note: I tried writing a report on TripAdvisor and they said it didn't meet guidelines!! I have been a member of TripAdvisor for 3 years and written over 40 reviews, and mostly favorable.

So this is why I contacted Pissed Consumer. My name is Ellen Delaroso and i live in Richland WA.

Ok first i tried to report this on YELP and Trip Advisor who led us here in the first place but they would not Post. If you don't know it already they are both being sued for not filing complaints or posting negative reviews.

Four of us went to the establishment based on positive reviews. I have also been told that businesses hire people to post positive reviews for them and i believe this is what happened here. We ordered in and although we were told the chicken, which they claim is their specialty, took 25 minutes it was close to an hour. We had a drink and then another and then some coffee.....

By the time we got our food we were starving. The chicken was under cooked and very salty. My husband and i owned two restaurants so we know food. It wasn't done.

At this point we are totally pissed! We told our waiter who was very apologetic. He took the food and came back about 15 minutes later. They apparently tried to put the chicken back in the fryer.

Folks you cannot do this! Now the chicken is completely grease soaked and tough. I thought my husband was going to flip out. We were starving and order 4 cheese burgers and told the waiter we wanted them immediately.

He took our chicken and we had our burgers in less than 10 minutes. They were horrible. Tiny patty with huge plain bun. Ok here is where we get to the amazing part.

They brought us the bill for $84.10 for ALL the food. Next thing i see is my husband standing at the counter waving his fist. Long story short after several tense minutes we paid for our burgers and drinks. The cashier said he would have to get approval from the manager to not charge us for the chicken.

My husband said to call the police if they like!! I will never step foot in this place again.

I went here while in Missoula because of good on-line reviews. Big Mistake.

The wait was long. I think about 5 cups of coffee later our chicken arrives with some fried man-n-cheese and chicken strips. It smelled great but i was so hunger by this point it didn't matter. The food is super greasy and salty.

The Mac n cheese is something frozen and thrown in a vat of grease. You can't really taste the food as the grease must have been dark and that is all i tasted. The chicken strips were better. They must have gotten them from Kentucky Fried.

Seriously folks this food is super over-rated and my buddy says they write their own reviews. The place is a dive. Seedy customers. At one point a couple of street people walked through to the bathroom which smelled like *** anyway.

I am not happy with the review sites and tried to post this review and they never posted it.

YELP and trip advisor missed it big time on this place. Never will go back...

I can't take this anymore. All I want is a good fried chicken that can satisfy my cravings but what they gave me is this kind of chicken.

And man, I was about to throw up my intestines because of this slimy chicken meat. I tried reporting to the owner because of the food but it all ended up as nonsense argument with the old man.

For those who want to visit this cafe, You better back off if you don't want any of this happening to you. It's better to be on fast food chains rather than this kind of place that they claim that they have the finest chicken of all times.

If I rate your chicken now, it would be poor and unsatisfying because it tastes similar with other fast food chickens. I'd say the same thing with your poor service.

Learn to treat your customers better. If you want good feedback, it will depend on how you treat your customers. Don't make the customer wait for an hour for food that is mediocre and that it doesn't even compare to the cost.

The place must be renovated to be more cool and dry. And lastly, please tell your staff to be customer friendly and that they want to make the customer smile when they enter at your restaurant, That's all thank you!

I though I was waiting for the light that never comes but I was wrong. I visited DFC's website and then I saw a quote that said, "The Best Takes A Little Longer" of course I was expecting to wait for 30 mins.

I'm not that hungry and thirsty that time but i was craving for their food after I visited their place. The food came after almost an hour. And then I saw most of people's reviews in different restaurant review sites complaining how long they took waiting for their order..

I guess they weren't mistaken. Might as well stop by on a fast food restaurant for faster service and fullfill my craving.

Everything was perfect since i started visiting this cafe. The food was amazing.

The location was perfect. Their services are by far appreciable and the place was cozy. Until the day i heard the employees fighting words with someone arguing about tax and licenses. Somehow the owner is involved.

I never came back because of the dark presence the cafe gave me. I did some research on Double Front Cafe and everything about its history. I saw an article about the owner saying he is a liar and a thief.

He and 20 of his neighbors got together and decided to pave their street. He refused to pay his neighbors for agreeing to pave their street even after 8 years.

It was the last thing i remembered last year in a December. Is it just me, or is anyone else ?

feels like Cordon Bleu should be spelled as Cold n Blue cause their ham tastes expired. I don't think it's worth suffering through .But on the other hand, There's a world full of possibilities. And a million other restaurants just like them. And right before my eyes was the exit sign.

I saw it all flash and pass by as i felt like vomitting. And that's why I wasted precious time and money. It just passed me by. I don't wanna wait for a goodbye to see what could've been.

I just wanna get one up on life before it kills me. There's so much Neckdeep song reference i can put here.

This has to be the worst gizzard serving restaurant I've ever come across. For starters, they forgot to clean it.

Also, the service took a long time. Waiting half an hour for this unclean food really pissed me off. I'm disgusted from the lack of sanitation this place has to offer. Definitely not worth it and a total waste of money.

I really lost my appetite after this gross and gruesome encounter and I have lost all my respect to this so called "world famous Missoula classic" disappointment. Next time, try to impress your customers with good service and keep it at a fair cost.

If i only had a time machine, i would take me back to the moment where i'm deciding where to eat. Every meal must be healthy and special for myself.

So i ordered Oriental Chicken and the thing i hate the most was the wet cabbages that tastes like medicine.

I just developed cancer by the sheer amount of grease you used in your fried chicken. Kidding aside, the food had too much grease for my standard.

I don't know if this was the goal of their chicken but it definitely was not appetizing for me. I thought this was going to be a good experience for me when I decided to visit your restaurant but I was proven wrong.

I really wanted to get a good eat from this place but I didn't. I've heard a lot of good reviews from other sites and I don't know if I was just unlucky enough to experience greasy chicken or this is usually the case for more people.

We took a table and ordered our food. I ordered a chicken meal because that's what I usually get( and it's what they recommended to us.) Anyways, everything was fine while we waited.

We were just sitting down and talking so I looked around the place and I honestly saw 1 or 2 cockroaches roaming around the place. It was very disturbing and it made me lose my appetite. What if there were more of them here? What if it wasn't only cockroaches?

What if this place was secretly infested with pests?

I wouldn't be surprised considering this place has been standing for more than a hundred years I think. It kind of affected my mood about the whole place.

Me and my friends we're just talking about the best foods ever so one of us said that this place was his favorite. I lost my words when i tried his favorite lunch.

is that a good thing ?nope and i was like meh , my favorite food was million leagues above yours. My favorite food was cheaper though. Why does the food have to cost so much? I feel like it wasn't worth it if I weigh what I'd gone through.

I think you're prices are a bit too high for the quality of food you give as well as the level of service that you give out. In my opinion, the costs outweighs the goods and services that you offer.
