I was able to easily get through my phone and they offered me a discounted UPS return label. It was easier than I expected!

Mold, Birds, Mistreatment
Former worker. The stuff is basically stored outside.
Warehouse was not climate controlled. Birds, cats, and rats lived among bedding. Roof leaks everywhere and mold was an issue.
This place was also an OSHA nightmare!! Owner never reported repeated injuries either!
THERE IS ALSO WHAT THE OWNER CALLS THE "WALL OF THE WORST" WHERE HE PUTS DISPARAGING THINGS ABOUT CUSTOMERS THAT REACHED OUT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Refused to ship product
This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They charged my card for my order and never shipped my daughters headboard.
I called and they wanted me to pay an additional $120. To overnight deliver when I asked why they said well you never called us back. Now it’s move in day and we don’t have a headboard and they refused to ship my product. They now refuse to take an order form me.
BEWARE YOU CAN NOT SPEAK TO A LIVE PERSON ALL COMPLAINTS HAVE TO BE E-MAILED.
Do not buy from this company ever. They are truly the worst and have no customer service.

Buyer Beware!!
I ordered a chair for my 11yr olds room for her birthday.
I purchased it in Oct. in May I noticed from the underneath along the seem it was ripping.
This chair was like a center piece in her room hardly ever sat on. She adores it. I told the Co. sent them photos needless to say after emails back and forth with Corporate they told me sorry and we can do NOTHING to help you!
You would think a chair would last longer then several months wouldn’t you!?
They do not stand by their products and care nothing about their customers. I will never purchase anything from them again.

Items Damaged in shipping
So buyer beware!! If you purchase one of their shipping packages and your items are damaged you are only insured up to $99 per box.
So if you pack multiple items in a box and the whole box is damaged you will not be reimbursed the total amount. You would do better to purchase the boxes and ship your stuff yourself. We lost over $300 dollars using Dormco to ship personal items to our daughter in school.
We provided pictures of the boxes and items damaged. We did everything on our part making sure things were wrapped and secured.
I understand UPS (Lousy company too) were responsible for damaging the boxes but Dormco should have made sure every item that was lost was covered. All Dormco said was sorry we did all we could and pretty much stop contacting us. So when you see all the reviews on the website be Leary because there are bad ones too if you google.
I wish I had before I purchased from them.
UPS you suck too. I will never understand why you crushed not 1 box but multiple boxes out of the 10 we shipped.

Worst customer service ever
Very misleading information, first time ordering for an event... not willing to send return label, no other suggested options, empty im sorry you feel that way but im the manager that answered the phone and will not send you to anyone else. Basically don't order from them unless you are willing to take the risk of being out the money if you don't get what expected!
Wrong product shipped
I ordered the 30 in drop bed skirts for my daughter's sorority house dorm room, as they were required by the house. I shipped them 2 day mail in order to receive them in time to install them in the 5-hour window we had to complete the move in and decoration of the rooms.
Upon receipt, on Saturday, we packed them into the move in boxes and when I unwrapped them on Tuesday they were the incorrect length. We received the 60 in drop rather than the 30 in drop skirt that we ordered. I was forced to try to retrofit the 2 times too long bed skirt onto the beds. I called dormco to advise of the error on their part and they informed me that since we cut the skirts to use them they would only refund me $11.00.
I explained to the customer service rep that they were necessary to be installed yesterday and that I did not have time to reorder them in time to get them on to the beds for rush, again their error. They said that was all they were willing to do since we could use the cut off skirts just as well.
I explained that the material is so cheap, that when it is cut it shreds so we had to actually tape the cut ends and the skirts will barely last the week of rush, again, they advised the $11 was the best they could do and they said they were sold out of the 30 in skirts so they could not replace them anyway.
This was not my error but theirs, we were forced to make do with what they sent us and they refused to stand behind both their product and their error. BEWARE DORM BUYERS THIS COMPANY DOESNT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sister, who is very excited to move into her college dorm today, bought from this company and found it to be complete trash! Upon first washing the inside of the comforter balled up beyond salvaging.
The company would neither sympathize, give her a refund, or an exchange. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. We contacted customer service and upon each employee who could not help us we went higher. At the highest level we had access to they still refused to ease our time and financial investment with even a half refund.
They do not stand behind their product. We even called their sister company and they also refused to submit our complaints.

Broken when Opened
I ordered a beautiful cyan blue trunk for my college bound child. When it arrived and I open the well packaged item them lid was already broken off.
How could I give this to my child and on it would last in college? When I called customer service and told them what happened five minutes after delivery I was instructed to send photos as proof of the defective product. You must send them a email with all your information in hopes you will get a reply.
Hopefully I will get this resolved soon. On a good note the shipping was quick and customer service answered the phone with a live person.
DormCo Safe Deception
DormCo College Dorm Supplies advertised the Iron Brick Safe PC version for a 15" PC laptop. The inside is only 14.25" wide so there is NO WAY a 15" laptop is going to fit.
They want you to pay shipping to send it back ($18 from my area). Don't be fooled by this company. I tried to resolve the issue with the company and with Paypal, but neither is willing to send a pre-paid mailer or offer a full refund including the cost of shipping.
Since I believe this product is falsely advertised then DormCo should pay to have it returned. I have included a picture to show the interior width.

Dormco sells ***. The quality is poor and prices high for what you get.
Return policy is BAD! Shop elsewhere. I so, so regret ordering from Dormco.
Spent over $300 and can't return. Garbage.
