Bought a door in 2018 which has faded.

Door-Stop replacing under guarantee but will not pay for the fitting!

The fault is theirs, not mine, so why should I incur the cost?

I'm incurring additional cost at no fault of my own!

Poor quality fittings awful customer service

The hinges on our door failed twice, causing issues with the rubber gaskets on the threshold, and also causing damage to the threshold. Doorstop customer service is beyond poor, incorrect parts keep getting sent. Save yourself the time and trouble and buy a door from an alternate supplier.

I purchased a door and a few windows from my local supplier.

Turned up after a week.

1. Windows made wrong size.

2.

New frames arrive a week later but now have wrong glass.

3. New glass ordered- waited a week. Order got lost.

4. Glass eventually arrived but u now send the door glass.

5.

Waited again - still no glass.

6. More waiting more promises still no glass

The glass arrives at door stop but its now scratched!

Guess what.

You've now run out of glass.

Worst customer service ive ever come across in my life. How can any company still be trading that makes makes that many amateur mistakes.

Unhelpful with dreadful customer service.

I placed my order on 18 April.

Sort it out DoorStop before you have no customers left!

I've been buying fire doors for years & I've never had a goo

I'm so happy to say that the quality of the skin glued and pressed to the firedoor that I bought 3 weeks ago was the first time I've een precise quality results , i would like to send my thanks to the guys whom work on the press at international door stop Huthwaite sutton in Ashfield Notts. Pete.

Having dealt with them since inception, we now don’t, poor service, poorly made, often having to refit their badly fitted locks, gaskets that fall off, beads that shatter, prices have also soared and now no longer useful to the trade, a rep who we never seen since the legendary Mr Bob Parsons, reps who don’t return calls, consequently we now purchase from Poly Frame giving us better results all round, it’s also looking like a call/complaint to Trading Standards/Ombudsman/regulator for not responding or dealing with gasket problems in Ally thresholds, etc etc etc.

Door discoloured 1 year to sort it out

Door Stop what a joke

The door was fitted a year ago and it has discoloured The door was fitted a year ago Door Stop gave me 20 delivery date

Emails went back and forth to the so-called customer services and it was absolute a joke customer in the end took me to court full refund £1230 Which the court made me payback the door was only £500 and Door Stop was going to give me a voucher for £150 pounds For my troubles hence I’m taking them to court now for the full money please stay away from this company

Very difficult company to deal with

As a company we have dept with door stop on and off over many years, we have seen many faults. Overall our view is that there door manufacturing facility is not nearly as high a quality as it needs to be. Our fitters dread fitting there doors.

Our fitters basically need to rebuild each door on site to get them to work.

On receiving doors into our premises we went through a stage of rejecting these doors approx 8 out of 10 for bad quality finish.

When you speak to customer services you have to fight very hard for any help.

We have moved away from this company, but fear that we will suffer more in the further as the quality of there doors gives up over our guarantee period. BE WARNED STAY AWAY!!!

Door fade and bottom rubber seal ! i see from previous reviews i'm not alone !!

Purchased door rosewood finish from Just doors in 2014 and fitted.Had door just over year when started to fade slowly got worse and patchy ,so end of sept 2016 notified Just-Doors who replaced because still under warranty . I had door delivered by Door-stop i asked driver when it would be fitted he said latter that day, needless to say no fitter arrive or will arrive .The communication that followed is- purchased door supply only therefore i must bear the cost of fitter to remove and replace door so i pay for there manufacturing fault . I fear in less than two years may have another faded door with cost.So beware buy at your peril .

Excellent company and i cannot fault their customer service, as previous comment it's supply only so tough it's only 12 screw to undo to change a sash and the rubber gasket under the door has failed because it was fitted out of square and its dragging or the door has dropped a very common problem with DIY'ers trying to save a few quid and fitting it themselves.

If you buy supply only then tough they were good enough to give you another they are not a fitting company if it's the door leaf then it's simple to change they gave you booklets on it when you got it very good company I find

After. Door was fitted my a well known company

I had my door fitted July 2014. Since.

Then I had the company out twice. Who fitted door To sort out. The bottom rubber seal Which. Has worked it way.

Out bottom. But. Now. Has split a part Problem start from.

Aug 2014. And as continued since I'm not a happy customer the door. Are suppose to the best. Now it drafts coming through.

Bottom. I was told was told by customer services at. Door stop. Call fitter.

They did not. Seem to care talk to person who installed. Door but I have since. Fallen out with fitter now I have a door that.

Not fit for purpose I would not recommend. Door -stop

I have had similar problems and would not recommend a door stop product. Customer service dreadful and the guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on!

We have already had the door replaced once due to fading and now the mechanism has rusted and lock no longer working.

This is an expensive door and the worst money we have ever spent.

Chartwell Green Composite Door

The quality control, if any, before shipment on Door Stop International Composite Doors is questionable.

The door arrived with a damaged glazing bead, an alternative was sent which was also damaged.

It is also highly noticeable that the drip on the external door is flush with the door all the way along apart from the last 75mm which will allow water to run behind the drip.

Upon making a telephone call to customer services it was evident that there is little knowledge of the product and quality control measures within the company.

Due to the above experience I am reluctant to make any further purchases and will take my custom elsewhere

Ordered a white composite door from Door-Stop International and it came cream. When I contacted the company I was told they would only come out to look at their door if I agree to pay £60 for an independent site visit for the first 30 mins and £40 per hour thereafter and the technician's adjudication is final.

I am very dissatisfied with the service I have received and would warn anyone purchasing a door to do some research before they buy. I have also been told that by signing this form waivers your statutory consumer protection rights.

Problems with door from new and Door-stop will not even talk to me as "they only deal with trade" and the comany I purchased the door from has vanished. After sales service is therefore non existent to the end consumer. Doors are not cheap either!I do not recommend this make of door to anyone.

I have also had a door from door-stop and experienced problems with their lack of customer service.

The door is only 12 months old and all the hardware is corroding and the door has also faded badly.

I would certainly never recommend them to anyone.
