So Let me tell you what happened to me and my van at DON JACKSON CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM in Union City, GA!!! I took my van on Saturday 7/21/12 to an emissions testing site, my van failed with 1 code PO443 and check engine light. I went directly to Don Jackson to get my 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport repaired to pass emissions only. By 7/27/12, Don Jackson's repair supervisor called to say that the van came up with 3 codes, the $110 diagnostic wasn't enough to determine what was needed to fix it. They said that a deeper diagnostic was required to find the problem that cost $430. Said it could be a transmission module or computer issue. I declined the services because I felt the repair department was trying to inflate the issues. On Saturday 7/28/12, I went to pick up my van. When I got in, the windows did not work, nor the a/c or the radio. I reported this to Jeffery Goldston, the Repair Supervisor and he stated that the tech said it was that way when I brought it in. THIS WAS A LIE! I told Mr. Goldston that the tech was telling a bold faced lie. Mr. Goldston replied, "Why would we lie?" I said to get MORE work maybe…I don't know but when I dropped off my van the windows were down and the radio was on. Your guy, Steve had to put the windows up!" Mr. Goldston then said he'd take it around to the service area to have the fuses checked. He then returned a few minutes later, parking my car in the main driveway to enter the employess only service area (not in the customer lanes) and left the driver's side door opened. He came over to tell us (my fiancé ) that there was no power registering to those areas and they were NOT responsible. Before we could dispute them again, a brand new Jeep tried to pass my van and almost tore the driver's side door off! The repair supervisor who LEFT THE DOOR OPEN, runs to stop the drive yelling "HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING..STOP..STOP" Needless to say the damage was done! My door has a crease in it and won't close and the driver has rear damage. A report was made and the police said that Don Jackson is at fault…as it should be. However, The Repair Supervisor, Jeffery Goldston, or the Fixed Operations Director, Colin Evans, did not offer a loaner vehicle, did NOT apologize to me and expected ME to DRIVE off their lot with a damaged vehicle!!! DON JACKSON DODGE REPAIR SERVICE IS A TOTAL RIPOFF!!! Colin Evans, stated that they WOULD not offer me a vehicle because that's what they pay insurance for. The insurance companies will determine who is at fault. The FAULT is shared between the driver, Jeffery Goldston (Repair Supervisor), and Don Jackson as a company. I have filed an Not at fault claim with my insurance company, will be contacting an attorney, filing a BBB claim and contacting local news….ANY SUGGESTIONS to anything else I can do. Obviously, Don Jackson is in the business of Poor Customer Service, Lying, Inflating repair issues and costs and just UNETHICAL BUSINESS!
