I don't want anyone hurt or killed by one.

nPLEASE DON'T BUY HYUNDAI READ THIS!!!!! So I am going to rant and explain why I am warning people about a vehicle that is driving on the road right now. But the most disappointing thing is the Dealership. So let me start from the beginning. So on June 23, 2020 Me and MIchael bought a new car mind you we are loyal customer to Hyundai and to Toyota because of the issues we have had in the past with other cars. About 8 weeks ago we started having problem with our new 2020 Hyundai Tucson not a week later Hyundai put a recall out on them come to find out our Tucson was not part of it because we had talk to Hyundai Corp America well during our talk with them we told them what was going on with the SUV and they told us and informed the dealership closest to us we were having issues with the SUV. We took the Tucson to Swope Hyundai in Elizabethtown Kentucky we ended up leaving it for a couple of days they gave us a loaner SUV because of the serious issues we were having the services assist called us and told us that the car was ready to be picked up so 2 days later we get there and JR the service person informed us that there is nothing wrong with the SUV and we were pretty much crazy in so many words. Mind you we did not buy the SUV there we bought is at DON FRANKLIN HYUNDAI on Richmond Road in LEXINGTON, Kentucky mind you this is my 3rd Hyundai from them. During this time I was leaving messages for our sales man and the sales manager and the General Manager of Don Franklin I left a total of 8 calls no return calls what so ever back. So we pick up the car JR informs us that they reset the transmission computer. But nothing is wrong with it we were go to go. We get down Ring Road turn on Mulberry and the car stop dead in its tracks. So we pull off and turn the car key off and turn it back on a drive to head to expressway and head to Bluegrass at this time I told Mike to get his phone camera out and record me driving the car down the Bluegrass and it happens 2 more times on the way home. So the very next day I call Hyundai Corp back and I talk to them explain to them that we are still having the issues and now we have video that it happening they got quite on the phone. At this time they were going to reach out to the dealership that looked at it. I gave the dealership that looked at it a bad review due to what happen right after I left the place. So this was on Friday Oct 16, 2020. We had appointment on Sunday Oct 18, 2020 to look at house because we are getting ready to buy a house and moved to Elizabethtown. On our way we are driving away on ring road and about 1/4 of mile from patrot way we are going 45 miles a hour the SUV stops right in its tracks almost threw me and Michael though the windshield and the car behind us came within inches of hitting us thank god he didn't because they had 3 little kids in the back seat of their car luck no one was hurt. So we pull in the church right there to get our head straight because me and Mike are very upset at this point. So we go about our day very careful at this time. We get back to Bardstown with the SUV doing it again on the way home. MInd you this is our only car. Monday October 19, 2020 We call Hyundai Corp Back and informed them of the incident and we call the Hyundai Fin. where are loan is though, and we call our insurance people a tell them whats going on the take the statement. At this time we leave a message that we will be bring it down to Don Franklin Hyundai and leaving it the sales man we bought the car from Ty Cobb tells us he will take car of it when we get there. At this time I get on the Kentucky State Attorney General web site and print out the papers for the Lemon Law for app to send in about the car so we did that. On Wednesday we talk to our lawyer after the insurance company calls us to inform us that as of midnight the Oct 22, 2020 they will not be responsible for anything the car hurts and will not insurance the car after that time. So at this time we are taking the car the next morning which is Thursday Oct. 22, 2020 to Don Franklin Hyundai and we stop and get a rental just in case a suggestion from our lawyer and our insurance man. We get there we Ty Cobb meets us he has not told anyone whats going on and take us back to the service people and have us tell them about about the car we have even showed them the video of the car doing it. Mind you we have 8 total now. They were going to give us a rentaland we told them we got one. We had to be prepared do to the fact Mikes and my doctors appointment we had to have a car to get around in. They have had the car since and no one has called us about the car and we have left 2 messages with NO call back at all from anyone from there. The insurance company no has informed us that if we take the car back after they fix it or do what ever to the car they will not insurance it. So we had to call the finance company to tell them what the insurance company has said and Hyundai Corp too. Here it is 11am on Oct 28, 2020 we have heard nothing about anything from nobody about this car. I have wrote down everything a documented everything including all the call dates and time I made them. Because of this I am warning everyone. PLEASE DON"T BUY A HYUNDAI. I was a loyal customer til now. I am telling everyone this due to the fact I don't want anyone hurt or even kill by this kinda of thing happening to anyone. We are still waiting. with no word it tell you how well they truly treat their customers after that.
