Please save your time and sanity, never buy from Dom Mebeli.

I am very disappointed with the lackluster customer service. The store seemingly keeps lying to me over and over again about my order.

We ordered Dave 2 seater and 3 seater and were promised delivery within two months. In reality, we waited almost 5 month and when the furniture was finally delivered, we received the wrong legs for the couches. Andrey, the owner, promised to correct the leg mess up ASAP. He pushed us on the phone to pay in full even though he did not deliver what we ordered.

And when I suggested to retain some small amount ($100) to make sure that we would receive the correct legs, he insisted that we cannot do that and the delivery guys would take the incorrect legs with them if I withheld payment. This would have left us with furniture we could not use. We paid in full under the pressure and were promised to receive the correct legs in August. We never heard from the owner again.

When I called in August and ask about the delivery I was told that the factory in Italy closed in August and we will get our order in the next shipping container in October. I called on October 10th and was told that they will check on the order and call me back. Of course, no one ever called us. I called again October 31st and was told by Sergey that our legs were definitely in the container coming from Italy and that we would definitely have them by November 30th.

I called yet again on December 13th and was told that the furniture container was delayed on the border, but we would for sure have them by December 22nd. When I called again on Jan 6th 2017 , Sergey seemed surprised that I still did not get my legs and promised to investigate and call back. He did call back the same day and promised to call again on Jan 9th with information about our order. Sadly, no one called on Jan 9, so when I called today (Jan 10) he said that he will figure this out and call back in 30 min.

After about 4 hours of waiting for the fabled phone call, I went ahead and called the store myself and was again told that Sergey will call back in 30 min. I called an hour and a half later and was then told that Sergey was gone for the day and I should call back again tomorrow. Where are the legs to my couches?

I still do not know. NINE phone calls later and I still have the incorrect order that I felt pressured to pay for.

Terrible customer service!!! Very rude and unprofessional

Terrible customer service!!!! Purchased furniture from here a while ago, needed a part, called the store, their computer do not hold the information for more than a year, as sales person said nobody cares and nobody will do anything for me take a picture of your furniture and come to the store, I explained that I live out of state right now and she said that no one cares where I live, I need to get up and bring her a picture of my furniture.

Total russian customer service.

She wouldn't give me her name either. I asked for the managers first and last name and she said she doesn't know me and never met me to give me his last name!!!!

Dom Mebeli - do NOT deal with this store

IF you want to receive your furniture as promised, DO NOT buy from this store. Your furniture will be delayed (at best), possibly damaged and probably not what you expect.

The store staff will not take responsibility for any of it. Our order was supposed to be ready "when we are" since the item was already in stock.

Well, when we were ready, we were told to wait 2 weeks, then 1 more week then another week and noone from the store even bother calling us - we had to chais these dissapointing answers and bunch of execuses ourselves. SOOOO frustrating!

Made in China not in Spain

Last Sunday 2/21/2011 me and my wife visited "Dom Mebeli" furniture store on Coney Island, Brooklyn. We asked sale person (I don't know the name of this women) to help us with living room sets.

We had a lot of questions and one of the question that was very important to us is in what country furniture are made.

One of the sets we looked wad EFS 747 (sofa, love seat and chair).

Sale person told me that set ESF 747 is made in Spain. Later I found on Internet ESF company and they told me that this set is made in China.

Do not buy from ESF Furniture stores in NY

I purchased Miss Italia Bedroom set about 8 months ago from "Dom Mebeli" in Brooklyn, NY ( this is the ESF store ). Since then I've been having problems such as damaged pieces and shortage of cabinet for the Wardrobe.

I have contacted the store and ESF directly, but they are a bunch of liars and unprofessionals. They are rude and dont care for customers.

Finally I contacted the manufacturer in italy ( Camel Group ) and was able to get at least the cabinet for the wordrobe.

Damages were never fixed and no one wants to be responsible for it.

Never buy furniture from these folks.

Actually, this is problem of the most furniture retailers that sell furniture. Especially online.

Manufacturers don't deliver in most cases, sellers do delivery (or hire third parties, including fedex/ups). ESF makes very good and inexpensive furniture. Just buy it from responsible sellers that deliver AND ASSEMBLE furniture (so-called white glove delivery). This way sellers do their best to make you happy.

Even if they will break something during delivery/assembly - they will fix it very fast at their own cost. Just avoid sellers that sell furniture without delivery/assembly.

Be aware that anything you buy from ESF products will most probably arrive damaged or defective.

The worst is that ESF will never take any responsibility for their own products.

You will need to pay out of your pocket to fix it.

This is how you do business in RUSSIA not in the US.

Maybe when the state of NY will start taking some action against ESF, "MISHA" the owner will understand that in the US, customer service is still something that you need to deal with.

Dear Dom Mebeli,

How dare you say that you spent numerous hours with me. You did spend some time when you wanted to get my business, after I paid you in full, you stopped being nice and became very rude. You disrespected me several times in the store and on the phone.

The worst customer service ever.

It is true that credit card denied my request for refund but only because I already accepted your damaged furniture ( I will upload pics of the damages shortly ).

I do not wish for anyone to go through what I went through for my own money.

Once again, I suggest for anyone who is looking to buy furniture not to use Dom Mebeli or any of the ESF stores in Brooklyn.

As Dom Mebeli Furniture management, we confirm that Mrs. Grushko did purchase furniture from our store.

It is also true that this customer has contacted the store regarding "shortage of cabinet for her wardrobe". However, Ms. Grusho forgot to mention the fact that such cabinets were optional and never picked, ordered or paid by Mrs. Grushko.

Twice she tried to manipulate the system providing credit card companies with fraudulent reasons from "delivery of wrong furniture" to "having damage in her mattress", but both times her attempts not to pay for the furniture received were unsuccessful. Calling us "bunch of liars and unprofessionals" after numerous hours spent with her is at least rude and unfair.

In return we can only say that our experience with Mrs. Raya Grushko was also very unpleasant.

And to all of our present and future customers we would like to say:" Thank you, we value and appreciate your business!!!"
