Dolphin Tile And Carpet

The installer came to my home this morning and the sales person measured wrong. They would nasty.

I asked them to leave. My house is in total disarray I have to go out and buy Carpet from another store and now I have to wait another two days to have it installed I can't even get into my bathrooms my kitchen all my bedroom furniture is in every room of my house. I am so upset.

I called American Express and disputed the down payment. When I told the general manager he told me big deal I'll just dispute your dispute.

Haven't received any purchase from Dolphins. Where they at?

The salesmen at store is very good. They over promise and under deliver. As a first time homebuyer I was on a tight budget and needed to deliver on time for a move out. They were great through contract and promised a 4 day turnaround and an "all in contract" for removal and installation. They came to house and said no problem and no issues would come up. After demo, they told me to come to house immediately. Long story short, $3,200 more than quote and a 7 day delay on a four day job. I was required to change my entire move and incur additional charges from a landlord for lease extension.

They promised to "make this right" and didn't. They told me to make arrangement with GC directly for overruns. They observed job, quoted me a full price that they knew was a financial stretch for me, and promised to work with me and GC for amicable resolution. I now have GC saying that Dolphin isn't paying him a penny more and harassing me for overage on a job that Dolphin misquoted and refuses to take responsibility for and assist at all as they require full payment up front.

Taking advantage of first time home buyers and not taking responsibility for mistakes that they made is no way to run and grow a business. They will never receive a recommendation from me and I will never use them again.

We ordered over 17k worth of carpet and flooring. Their sales people have no idea, how to calculate or explain.

Measuring people over measured us by at least 150 sqft and when we had extra boxes to return the reply form the store is even more ridiculous. Never shop or trust these guys. Once you request an answer all you hear is round words or not clear answers. all they do is to twist the meaning giving you a mouthful so that you get distracted.

Doesn't work like that with us.

Corporate will handle i guess but they are a rip off when it comes to returns, calculations or service. yuck..

DC&T currently installing carpet at our condo, a 3 floor building. Weeks of delays in starting the job, the tile they laid first had to be fixed before carpet could begin.

3 employees came to quote the job but still they refused to send extra manpower to carry carpet up the stairs (rolls too big for the elevator), so condo had to hire 2 extras to help. Still, the carpet that should have been rolled out in a long hallway has FOUR poorly done seams in it.

Although carpet was probably glued down, it nevertheless has loose looking spots where it's not flat to the concrete beneath. The carpet is thin and, when taken together with the bad seams, it doesn't look like it will last long once residents begin using it.

Stay away from this company. Their prices are cheap but their work-product reflects it.

I hired them because they were inexpensive and sure enough I can not get them to come back and fix their sloppy work. Footprints all over the floor, grout lines still dirty and the supposed clear sealant is either water-downed or really cheap. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money or be prepared to have it recleaned by someone else or to do it yourself.

Forget about them coming back to fix their poor work. I tried to get them to come back but they no-showed two times.

If your estimator cannot make it in a two hour window, don't advertise the two hour window! Who will compensate me for my time?
