Unbelievable I booked on line through Novotel. On their site I was diverted to third party. I was booking for my nephew but there was no ‘guest’option.
- - Difficulty changing the guest name via the reservation site; front desk unresponsive.
- - Charged nearly $800 for a $510 room; billing unclear.

Its now 7 hours later 3 hours after check in.
I rang the number on Novotel site waited 35 minutes to be told I need to ring Customer Service.
Waited another to be told front office at hotel was not answering so they couldnt help. Apparently they couldnt email either.
I rang front desk it went straight to mailbox.
I then checked my credit card they charged me nearly $800 for a $510 room and I couldnt find out why.
Now I cancelled credit card and all direct debits(aghhhh) Dan stayed in a nice apartment and Ill always go to Airbnb because you can talk to owner directly and the company has an excellent service team.
