Aggravating log on

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have numerous different online accounts but none of them are as aggravating to use as dollar savings. You must go through a 2 step log on every single time (even if you check the remember this computer) The sight also has poor slow scripts and trackers on it.

The last punch in the face is it will not work with mint or any other agagation sight so you have to go through this garbage on there sight and manually enter it in money management sights. It is concerning that there is this level of incompetence in design in an online only bank.

Great Bank

I have been with Emigrant and now it's "Dollar Savings Direct", since early 2000's. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED A PROBLEM!

I was a little skeptical back then going from a brick and mortar to an e-bank however here I am 2017 and all I can say is, great bank and great customer service when I needed it. I have transferred large sums of money in and out from my Wells Fargo General fund and it has always been prompt and exact. Scheduling transfers works, and always has for me, on time and precise.

Maybe you all are recipients of Karma and you have done it to others, dunno. FYI - I am not an employee with this or any bank, just a satisfied consumer alarmed at your complaints.

DollarSavingsDirect currently seems to have a very time involve bureaucratic way of linking additional external Bank Accounts.

When you 1st set up your account, the initial funding account is approved after you confirm 2 small deposits, then if you what to add a second or third, funding account, it takes 60 days after the day the account is opened and you have to fill out a document and send it to Dollar Savings Direct. They send it to your funding bank and if they do not respond, they ask you for a recent statement.....A lot of e-mails back and forth.

They are giving a hard time about linking a different checking account and deleting a different account that was compromised. They want a form to be filed out with a copy of a check and a bank statement to PROVE its my account. I told them they can shove it and CLOSE THE ACCOUNT.

Cost me interest on $30,000. for 2 weeks

Don't put money in this "2 star" Bank. They are double trouble.

I had problems from day one - trying to deposit $30,000 into their Dollar Savings Direct. They sent me a letter on 10/21/08, saying the account was open and they received the money.

Today, 11/03/08, I tried to deposit $30,000 more and find that they did not have any money in the account. They said I gave them the wrong acct.#. Really?

Well, how then did they charge my account with $.97?

There are 2 other banks--4 star--paying the same amount--4% APY. No trouble at all there.

Go to UFBDirect.com for trouble free banking.

Dollar Savings Direct: Jerked me around for about 15 days while I tried to deposit $30,000.

Anyone, that tries to open an account with this "two star" bank, is making a mistake. They sent me a letter saying they had recieved the funds and just today, Nov.

3rd, while trying to deposit another $30,000, I find that they never got the money. So my money has been sitting around without interest. They didn't bother to notify me. I should have realized, on day one, when I had troubles with them that they are bad news.

There are two "4 star" banks paying the same amount - APY 4%. Thank God, Dollar Savings did not get my money!
