They sell junk and they smell funny

They told us engine was rebuilt well upper half was lower half not. Told us it was the catalitic converter so we placed than had a diagnostic done bottom half of engine is bad

Overall I had a great experience. I scheduled to meet with Jason regarding a vehicle I was interested in, but when I went to the lot he wasn't there.

Turns out I had screwed up the time and I was an hour late and had missed a call from him. He called a second time just to make sure I was ok and agreed to come back to the lot even though he was done for the day. That meant a lot to me. Price was fair and they were very upfront about the entire process and any potential issues that might crop up.

6 months later still no issues. I will probably be back in the spring to get a car for my daughter.

Not going to type my whole complain against this crooked dealership as itll take too long. This guys prey on people and screw them over.

They falsify documents or claim they have documents that dont exist. They refuse to provide documents they are supposed to and use the legal system to protect them while they take advantage of people.

Im setting up a lawsuit against them. Anyone looking to join and hoping to shut these guys down for good please email me at ziggywolf91@***.com

Well after 5 years and 2200 cars sold, I guess a few people were not happy, well I still think we have less complaints then any new car dealership out there, In fact I just checked and we are at about 90 percent,cars are bought as is and we try to help everyone :)

I just thought you should know that dogcon is the worst car company I have ever had to deal with. I paid 2700 for a car that should have cost , maybe a thou. the car leaks inside and out and they knew it. They said it had a new engine but it has no motor mounts in the bottom of it and no cover over the timing belt, and little power. No air filter, the exhaust is clogged, No new plates, I had to call and threaten to get my plates and then pick them up myself. When I finally gave up on expecting you to process the title, and again had to call, it was sent to me, signed and I had to take it down to put the peice of *** in my name. I am going to do anything I can to discredit them and warn you in any way I can.

Dogcon's response: You have no basis to your claim, and it makes no sense if you think about it. You borrowed money to purchase a car that ran you and your son all over even now with its clogged exhaust and leaks... A year and a half later. Of the little down you gave the dol was paid on your behalf for tabs, plates and tittle Transfer. The plates were not issued as required due to state epermitting errors but corrected. The title does not come until you pay your loan. That was issued to you after you completed your payments...... Finally!

My response: I do have a claim. You had a motor put in with only half the motor mounts, you covered the fact that it had been leaking and was mouldy and smelly and the trunk, doors, and hood leaked water. The engine you claimed was new had very little power, which I was unfamiliar with because I usually drive v-8 or v-6s and you held the plates and the title and took forever to get them done, long before the last payment was due. When I picked it up, after being late on the final payment, you had lost 2 of the hubcaps and taken the battery out, used it as your personal car and someone smoked in it, as well as left trash in it.

I love this store I told them I would write a good review,they sell more cars then most new dealerships and only have like 4 complaints,I have never been to a delership were they are able to help so much, all the cars they carry are good reliable makes and models and everything is way Cheper,if you know anything about cars or the car business this is your store,I work at a large new car store 11 of our 15 sales people bought there cars from dogcon auto along with our technition,

No help at all, bought an "as-is" vehicle expecting.... some work needing to be done so when it came to it they agreed to help us with the car and get parts for it.

The car broke down within the week of purchase and after several calls and even scheduled appointments made with the dealership no-one has called us back, none of the appointments were followed through with, we have been given no assistance whatsoever. This car was my gf's first car and its just been *** doing everything ourselves. Nothing but frustration and empty promises from this dealership. Go with your first impressions on the place, they are accurate...

I dont believe any of their cars are taken care of and I know their customers arent. Wish we had just waited for the right car instead of going out on a limb and trusting in a small company like this. The mechanic and owner told us it was going to have a few issues but we were not prepared for a leaking radiator, a shot motor mount, janky electrics, busted tie rods and broken wheel bearings to add on to disfuctional broken engine parts. We told them we needed a car for at least a year, not too much to ask for right?

We got one for a week and are pretty much on our own.

I work with cars and I have been replacing parts on it since we got it and changing fluids and treating her right. I understand the concept of "as-is" cars but we have in writing that they will assist us with our endeavors to make the car more solid and we can't even get a hold of them.

This company is dispicable. They sold a car to a teenager who had NO insurance, NO driver's license, and NO proof of income. They knew all this and made this deal!! To make matters worse, they sold him a piece of *** car for $1599 (not worth this much, by far) then added on over $600 in "fees" and charged him 32% interest! His first payment was over $600!! How many teenagers can afford a $600 payment in one month? How many two income married households can do that? They called it a "pickup" payment of $400 and a $200 monthly payment. Since he drove off the lot with the car that day, and this first payment was due a month later, what is the "pickup" part? Am I missing something here? Never heard of that and I'm his 45 year old mother. Oh, maybe they are the "pickup" artists: Pick up young kids who don't know better and screw them. Yeah, that fits.

The car, by the owner Leon's admission had been back 3 times in the first two weeks to be "fixed." Leon stated to us, the parents, he not only fixed the car but told us the name of the shop that supposedly did the work. We called that shop. Guess what? They've never seen the car and are pissed their name is being dragged through the mud. By the end of the second week the car is having serious trouble. By the end of the fourth, the car is parked. Broke down. Engine ruined. The engine supposedly fixed by a "invisbile" company.

We went back and asked them to make this right. Take the car back, return most of his $700 down payment (not all the money, mind you. WE are fair and good people) but most of it so he could go buy a car that will get him back and forth to work. They won't work with us. Like the previous poster, Leon hasn't returned our calls in a week. When I finally reached his wife, Ricky, she was rude and insulting and only had one thing to say, really. "We put it in writing and he signed. There is nothing you can do about it." Congratulations, DogCon, you conned a teenager with a bad deal and a piece of *** car. You may have the papers signed, but in the end, a business like this won't last with the type of business you do. With the type of people you are. Maybe a class about customer service would benefit you. You can only get away with this type of behavior for a time before word gets around and a reputation is something you only get one chance with. ONE. The cost of that will outweigh you having taken the car back and given my son his hard earned $500 back.

You bet I'm pissed. And a pissed off mother bear isn't something you want to deal with.

owner of dogcon auto hit my car,did 1200 damage,he refuses to fix or give his insurance info,hangs up on me when i call,or lies to me when he does answer,just want him to fix my car that he ran into.it happened on 2/24/2012 at 815 am.the car that hit mine was a used car off his used car lot that he was driving it,i should not have to claim on my insurance when he is a buisness owner that must carry insurance,he has lied to me,my wife,my insurance adjuster,he is a real *** artist if you ask me
