DOG GONE TAXI, Sea-Tac.....POOR QUALITY CONTROL
- - International pet shipping is scary; quality control is lacking.
- - They claim checkpoint staff; arrival date was a typo causing customs issues.
Sending your animal internationally is scary at best. Dog Gone Taxi does not have great quality control in place.
Say they have people at each check point and that is not true. Told arrival in Italy would be 10/2/ 15 and arrived 10/1/15 causing many customs issues. DUE TO WHAT THEY SAY WAS A TYPO!!!! They also so say they need to take your dog for a vet check which you can do on your own.
They also indicate they must "build" a crate for your animal.
They use a plastic one you can purchase for much less on your own. Do not trust this service!!!
Preferred solution: Price reduction

With several correspondence back and forth we have tried at various levels of reasoning to explain in the simplest format to this client the rational for her pet that arrived one day earlier but she could no do the math. The biggest issue was when she changed the departure date by having her pet leaving one earlier than schedule, this simply means that her dog was going to arrive 1 day earlier.
She continued to dispute the fact that she did not realize her dog would arrive 1 day earlier. We tried to explain the situation but it was a futile effort for us to have her to grasp the explanation.
Furthermore, the client received a detailed email request from the airline confirming the place, time, flight information, to collect location, and date. This was all confirmed in emails between client and airline.
