Old tin photos never returned

back in 8/2014 I went to our local Mentor store to have copied these old family tin photos told them I wanted them back .will received the copied photos but the original Never Received them, still have the envelope which they came in. the bottom line will never take our old photos to Dodds ever again jeff

User's recommendation: buy through B&H camera store in N.Y.

Dodd Camera Service is Horrible

They advertise they do photo equipment repairs. They do not they just charge you extra to send you camera, lens etc back to the manufacture for repair it will not take 4-6 week your lucky if you get an estimate in 4-6 weeks. Their employees are horrible they never answer the phone the answering machine never picks yp because they never clear the messages off. They never return e-mails. If your going to buy a camera or lens shop the web at least you will get some service. I waited a month to find out about a lens I had sent in to be repaired to be told it would be another week. I did know they had sent the lens to Tokina for a repair estimate. So I e-mailed Tokina directly and was told they had e-mailed the estimate a week ago, So after 4-6 phone calls and e-mails I did get an estimate to repair the lens but the big question is when will the give Tokina the go ahead to repair the lens another month. Terrible Terrible

Unable to Repair and poor communication

Do not try to have any printers repaired at Dodd's Camera. They will be unable to fix the printer. Dodd's miss quoted cost repair estimate and I had to turn around and return to the store to pay the remaining balance before I could recieve the repair estimate. They over estimated their ability to repair the printer. I would never have agreed to repair the printer for more than 1/2 of original and or new printer's cost. Dodd's sent the printer to the original manufacturer for additional repairs without my consent and notification of the additional repair cost before sending. I am now spending 3/4 of the original monetary value of the product for the repair cost. I would never have agreed to that if told in the beginning. Dodd's has poor customer communication and service.
