Treatment of Customers

When out looking for a car, I needed a car that was reliable. I looked on Craigslist to find a $1599 ford taurus car.

When negoiting for a price I knew I was ripped off before I could go any further. Sold for $1420. This car needed three new tires and one was on a spare. I'm a naive teenager and didn't know much about cars.

Also I am a student that works two part time jobs and on a budget. I thought I could afford insurance but kept thinking hard about keeping this car. I decided to give it back and use my dad's honda. This was the second day i had kept the car and you are only suppose to have a 3 day grace period when it comes returning a car you are unsatisfied with and get your money back.

When i did, the owner of the place was unpleasant. I was with my mom. My mom thought about having my dad help and the owner thought we were threathening him and his business when really we needed my dad to help us out on what we should do about returning this car since the owner was being unfair. When asked what he did with the money I had spent on the car (this was cash by the way) he said he had already spent it.

On what though?? What could you possibly spend $1420 on overnight??i was even told that 90% was going to salvation army (yeah right). When talking to the guy who sold the car to me, he was laid back & we would work out getting our money back. Afterall, he did tell us we could return it up to a certain amount of days.

So as we were sitting in the trailer office, the owner would always come in aggressively interrupting us as we worked out a deal by trying to scare us off and rush our decision making process. He would at times even slam the door on us. This made my mom and I startled, uncomfortable & even more stressed out than we ever were. Eventually, we had settled the return of the car and I recieved my money back, in a check. The owner even said please do not ever come back here again.

That was unnecessary. Sure you lost a sale but you have got to understand where your customers are coming from and you should always invite them back and satisfy their needs. However, I would rate this customer service poor, unsatisfactory and an unpleasant experience. Not very welcoming and cheerful.

Coming home from the dealers, I was hurt.

Every business should have an upbringing to fit the customers needs. That's what makes the customers always come back and recommending their friends and families about how wonderful your business truly is.
