CEO of Docin.com doesn't care

I had a similar experience and sent several emails to service@***.com and help@***.com. All I received were generic replies that didn't address my problem. So I did an online search and found out that the CEO of the company is Jonathan Lin who is an American. He went to Stanford and Harvard. I assumed that someone with his background and education would respect someone's privacy and work to make sure that info that shouldn't be published online without someone's permission would be promptly removed. I sent an email to jonathan.lin@***.com over a month ago and haven't had a response. I had also sent an email to michelle.fan@***.com earlier. Also no response. I suppose the CEO and everyone who works here can't be bothered helping people.

The Chinese site, docin.com, supports impostors

While doing an online search of my name, I found my name at docin.com. Someone had created a fake account using my name. Prior to this, I had never heard of this site. When I contacted their customer service, all I got was the runaround. They said the name didn't matter since it was just a nickname. I pointed out that companies such as Facebook will delete impostor accounts, but these people didn't give a *** I'm not surprised at their attitude considering how lax the Chinese are concerning copyright, intellectual property, etc. Chinese companies will always be under suspicion if they don't take complaints seriously. Uncaring, lousy service. Whoever stole my name should know that bad karma will be upon you.
