My Mom & I activated our DNA Kits March 23 2019, & mailed both kits the same day same time. My Moms kit was received March 25 & has sailed thru & is estimated to be ready on April 8th.
Mine wasn't even showing till I called Ancestry & gave them my Kit ID Number & then it miraculously showed up being received March 25, but it seems to be stuck between Kit Received & Sample Processing & it is now April 7. I am wondering if they really received it or just was placating me since she had given the kit number to them?
23andMe - Ancestry is constantly changing

Unbelievable. Every time I open it up I am a different composition.
I'm suppose to be polish and French. At first I was about 9 percent polish which was a surprise thrn it went down to 7 percent and now there is none and the percentages total 67 percent. What happen to the rest.
Plus I'm now 7 percent Spanish and Portuguese. Prior reports had 0 percent.

Every week one of the features wouldn't work or you can't access your trees. The DNA is a joke and it continually changes. Unless I was switched at birth the DNA does not resemble how it should actually layout. Seeing as I am the spitting image of my mother and siblings...
Ancestry - DNA test scam for Asians
by CheerfulStarfish146 #14604561.0
I am from Japan, the DNA test validated that I was from Japan and nothing more. There was no haplo groupings, ancestry composition...Nothing I didn't already know and it cost me $80.00. Tried to get an answer and a refund but was unable to get neither.

I received the following, after initiating a complain: "Thank you for contacting the 23andMe Team. We are currently working with the US Postal Service to determine why some samples cannot be delivered to our lab in Phoenix, Arizona. In the meantime, the US Postal Service will be redirecting your sample to our lab in Burlington, North Carolina. I'd like to assure you that your sample will be delivered to our North Carolina lab within our standard 2-4 week timeframe from the time you originally mailed your kit." It was their Box, their pre-printed Label, following their Instructions. All this after having pre-paid handsomely for a service! How can anything they subsequently produce carry any degree of assurance??

Ancestry - Way off!

Mine came back 52% English and no where in my history is there that much English. My Scotch/Irish only came back 22% and that is what I am mostly made up of.
No mention of Native American and I have a great who was 100% Native American. I think that instead of going with the DNA sample, they are relying on the old Mormon church records.
I believe that this company is either owned by or at the very least, controlled by the Mormon church which does have an extensive record of people coming to the U.S. but how accurate are they?
