I recently had Dluxe repair the suspension on my Mercedes S550. It has a complex system called airmatic.
I looked up the part online and saw that it could be purchased for less than $500.00. I also learned that the labor time to replace it was two hours or less.so about $200.00. Depending on what company you purchase the strut from and the shop that you use, the total cost should be $800.00 to $900.00. I was charged over $1600.00 for the repair.
I feel that I was taken advantage of. I believe that the owner misrepresented the cost of the part and way overcharged on his labor.
