Well I am not one to complain much, but I have been trying to talk to someone in customer service for a week now. I have left messages and even a voice mail, still not a word.
When you spend 50k on a RV and you have a question you would think someone would at least talk to you. In defense of the service department they have always been pleasant to deal with if you can get them. I even called the home office after not being able to get a hold of anyone all day.
Guess what there is no one there either and I left another message. I have recommended Dixie to several folks and many are looking to upgrade or buy soon I hope that they can get this resolved.

Dixie RV of Hammond,LA is the only company I have ever purchased a motor home from 2 times. They gave me a great trade in price and were very helpful finding the Motorhome I wanted and getting it to their center in time for me to purchase it.
Their repair shop is also okay to do business with.
It was not perfect but it is the best one I have come across in all my years of RVing. I’m sure that I would buy a third RV from them.

We have had our coach for 5 weeks now, still no really good contact from the powers to be, such as Jeff Pegler, to whom I called in the beginning and had very little discussions with, the last time he never called back. Our biggest concern is that the PDI was never done at all, nothing!
I did have a conversation with Jeremy Martin, manager of motorized, and he told me he had the 72 point PDI sheets all filled out and signed off. I told him I never signed off and never did see the sheets filled out. So much for that!The PDI, if it had been done when the coach came in, we would not have had all this grief for the last 5 weeks. Fridge was no good from the get go.
No water to the door, no ice, alarm continually sounding unless the door was locked, coldest temp was 46 degrees! We had to buy a new fridge to put outside to keep our food in which cost $583. Whirlpool agreed to exchange it. Whirlpool contacted 10 companies to service us and could not get one to help.
Consequently we ended up having to drive to Middlebury IN to the factory to have the exchange done. HAD THE PDI BEEN DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE we would not have had all this expense plus $600 in fuel cost! Steve Piper showed us about 3-4 items on the walk thru, that's it. He was to busy with other walk thru's because that's how he is paid.
There were 15 other items that had to be done while we were there at Dixie. Finally after a day and a half we left very disgruntled. We were not serviced! 1.
no second set of keys/fob. 2. no shade at drivers toll window. 3.
screen punched out and no repaired. 4. no safe keys. 4.
asked to turn down alarm, not. 5. laundry doors did not close properly. 6.
wifi ranger password. 7. door and screen door stick. 8.
fridge has issues. 9. stains on carpet. 10.
rusty sink. 11. towel holder fell apart. 12.
window at dinette very hard to open. 13. USB port at theater seating console not working. 14.
front day shade falling apart at bottom. 15. windshield wiper on D/S . 16.
shower head retainer adjustment.
17. shade on P/S small window locked up.Steve Piper showed us this; macerator, leak under sink fixed, direct TV setup, door code, generator, fan control in bedroom.

Hammond location, We bought a new Motorhome and have had it for a couple years with very little problems. Overall we were happy with Dixie and their employees.
I called and left a message about a warranty concern that I’ve fixed myself now. But they wouldn’t know that because I’ve never gotten a return call.

Walk thru was a joke, spent maybe a 1/2 hour with us. No PDI at all, they filled out the 72 point PDI sitting in an office.
Sales people were good but way over loaded as while they were trying to help us, they were called to do other things. Way more but no time, just very frustrated and after spending $300K, I am done!

Horrible Ethics
My husband and I were trying to purchase an RV, we admit that our credit was a challenge, but they just lied and had us hanging on for over 20 days waiting, no calls and no return calls. Then they tell us they have sent it to another finance company and will be 7-10 day s.
During this the RV we put a $1000.00 deposit on is still on the website and was listed one time at a $10000.00 lower price, then a few days later back up to the price we had, then the last time it was Pending Sale at a $20000.00 price increase. So we called and waited to find out what was going on, and finally got a text message that we weren't approved.
We know for a fact that they did not send it to another finance company, because we have lifelock and we were not notified. Their ethics are all over the map, DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!!!
Dixie RV selling Fleetwood products is a shameful sale or association to Fleedwood
Well I must believe that Dixie RV failed to offer or try to sell me an extended warranty at the time of initial purchase. So thanks for not being a reputable company.
I am now stuck with a $144.000 motor coach that requires repairs because Dixie RV failed to correctly repair two very important system. I assure you I will report Dixie RV for making costly mistake at their customer expense.
However, I may only be one voice I will assure you any body looking for RV, 5 Wheel or trailer will be advised to stay away from Dixie RV. Given to opportunity to capture a bill board along I12 I will post Dixie RV lack of concern for their customers.
NO TRUTH
Purchased a $650,000 RV from Hammond, La. After deal was made, they offered to deliver the RV to me in SC since I would be able to pick it up for another several weeks.
They wanted it off their lot. Anyway I told the motorized manager ok...ONLY if this unit was checked out from top to bottom and front to rear for any manufactures defects. I am very picky especially after making such a large purchase sight unseen!!!! Upon delivery, the driver really was not versed on the RV so we go NO instruction as to operation at all.
I noticed a few little items that should have been repaired, but weren't. Well within the next few days I inspected the RV carefully and found 50+ items that needed to be taken care of. Called Motorized Manager at Dixie RV and told him this was NOT acceptable and I want ed speak with the GM about this situation. He said that that was not allowed and that they have other levels of management to take care of these situations!
At this point I got PISSED! Bottom line, my RV had to be returned to the factory for repairs! I have asked Dixie RV for compensation for the wear and tear of the consumables (tires, batteries,general items that get used up). This is another 1000 miles I will have on this unit!
As of this date NO response from anyone from DIXIE RV!!!!
ALL I CAN SAY....BUYER BE WARE!!!! These people just want to sell you something and forget about you after the BIG sale!!!!!

BAD EXPERIENCE
Purchased a 2018 $650,000 RV from these guys and after all the back and forth, we made the deal. I could not go to La.
to pick it up for at least a few weeks. They needed it off their lot asap, so they offered to deliver it to me in SC. Ok fine, but I told the motorized manager that this RV MUST be 100% checked out from top to bottom and from front to rear for ANY manufacture defects!!!! He assured me that it would be done not to worry!!
Famous last words!!! Well to ship to the chase, upon delivery, the driver was NOT schooled on this RV at all and virtually did not know how MOST of the features worked! Anyway we took delivery and for the next several days I found over 50 items that needed attention!!! I called the Manager back, as I was VERY PO'd at this point and just told him to just take the RV back and we can just forget about the whole deal......DUH...of course he said they could NOT do that.
I asked to speak with either the owner or the GM. His response was, that they were not available to speak with me that they had other levels that would handle this issue!! Well the OTHER level was NO help either!! He said that the factory would have to take care of this issue.
The factory send a rep to look at the RV and was supposed to come back to do the repairs. But after several weeks of me calling Dixie RV and the factory they finally decided to just pick up the Rv and take it back for repairs!!!! WOW, I called Dixie RV again and asked if they were going to compensate me for the wear and tear on the RV? Since it was over 1000 miles to and back from the factory.
The items like Tires, batteries, and other consumables. Dixie RV should be obligated to make this RIGHT!!! Especially since they assured me that the RV would be 100% right upon delivery!!! I am not a happy camper at this point with Dixie RV and NOTHING has been done.
I HAVE NOT hear one work from them! After the sale they drop you like a hot potato!! I have made complaints to La.
BBB and anyone that will listen. I just want the BUYER to BE WARE and make sure you see what it is you are buying and that everything is 100% correct BEFORE you make the deal!!

2017 Thor Quantum. Has not been on a single complete trip without breaking down.
The compartment doors fly open going down the road because the latches loosen on their own. I was told if I wanted that fixed, it would be $1200. The valve stem extenders were faulty, and I had a double blowout on my second trip in the thing. Again, this was my expense.
The large storage compartment underneath leaks, so the floor is almost rotted through - on a 2017. The generator gets hot and shuts down after an hour or so, then won't run for several hours. Also, I'm pretty sure that my inverter is bad, which makes the second one I've had in six months. So, with no generator or inverter, I can't take any long trips or my food with thaw.
Complete piece of ***. They still haven't sent me my spare keys from when I bought the thing, and one of the salesmen told me that for $100, he could have a guy come out to do a service call and mount a satellite on the roof. I'm still waiting on that.
Bunch of liars and thieves. Sales staff told me not to call them again with problems as they don't want to hear it.
