Order of completion of homes

AI Highlights
  • Our lot was bought early; our house is behind 12 homes.
  • Site visits, unhelpful replies, and a poor completion sequence; no resolution.

Our lot was purchased before any other lots on our entire street (Winding Pine Road). Our house now is behind at least 12 houses in construction.

I get the same answer every time I question the lack of progress. I am at the construction sight daily. I completely understand material and labor delays. The sequence of completion of houses is terrible.

No one will listen to me. I have analyzed approximately 40 houses and permit status.

I know what I am talking about. Still no resolution.

Pros:
  • Great house

User's recommendation: Make sure you document the construction of your house

Sales Agents do not answer phones or return calls - receptionist who answers phones is clueless

AI Highlights
  • Repeated calls to sales; receptionist set a call time, but no call.
  • No call was received despite promises.
  • I will find another builder.

Called multiple times to talk with sales agent. Have to start with receptionist.

Receptionist gave a time the sales agent would call. No call was received. Called back several times, spoke with receptionist. Again, promised Sales Agent would call.

No call received. Imagine building a home with this company. Would be a tremendous risk.

This environment points to major problems. Will find another builder.

User's recommendation: Avoid this company

I agree, avoid this company DiVosta! (DiVosta.com) I was trying to buy a lot in a new community that is being built in Osprey FL.

Without going into all the details, the sales agent was terrible. I emailed the manager a week ago explaining what took place and no email or call. His name in Manny Martinez.

I will look elsewhere for a retirement community and would recommend you do the same. I also read that DiVosta uses the lowest bid of construction workers and it shows from all the complaints by people that did buy in Talon Preserve.

Ryan Marshall at DiVosta is a classless jerk who highly paid. I feel bad for you.

That is pretty *** for any Builder to handle this situation, the way they treated you. Customer Should always be number 1 but they seem to forget about that. Bad for business, people read REVIEWS!

AI Highlights
  • Mail not delivered; no assigned mailboxes.
  • No cable or internet; reflects planning issues.
  • Construction runs 7 days a week with early and late hours.

I have lived in my home for three weeks. Our mail is not delivered because the post office said that Divosta has not assigned mailboxes.

Every time I or any of the other homeowners ask a Divosta employee, they will not commit. We also do not have cable or internet. Both these problems indicate poor community planning. I was telling someone about this and their response was that good community planning includes working with the local services from the beginning.

Also, there seems to be very little supervision of contractors. There is construction going on 7 days a week; before 7AM and after 7PM. Saturday(10/15/16) night there were cars and trucks speeding up and down the road behind my house until 10PM.

There are no lights here and the gates are left open. My family has lives in Vero Beach for over 40 years and I know many people here, and I plan to continue to spread the word about the current "Divosta" project.

Pros:
  • Location
Cons:
  • Poor communication and lack of honesty

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered

We too live in a Divosta home in Vero. Our opinion based on experience is that Customer service staff do not respond to emails or show even mild concern to fix issues on the 1 year warranty problems report that they prepared with us.

When we see their reps. they tell us computers are down, sub-contractors on extended holiday vacations, etc. Bottom line is they could care less. Ignore emails and phone calls.

We elevated in Divosta Customer service and got same no result. Avoid buying from Divosta and refuse to close if any open issues.

After closing you will not exist. Pulte-Divosta could improve profits by eliminating the payroll in Customer Service Dept.
