I hired Divine Designs & Landscaping to lay sod that had leaked into my house due to a hurricane. Gregory, the landscaper, convinced me that the foundation needed to be fixed alongside the house.

Edward, his helper, dug alongside the house to expose the foundation. Gregory explained that he would be pouring soft concrete to get deep into the holes in the foundation. Gregory charged a total of $4,050.00 for a job he did not complete as promised. He charged $2,000.00 for supplies, which included a small plastic bucket, metal stick, shovel, dry cement, and my water.

However, Gregory used his hands to fill in the foundation, not pouring in as promised. After I complained to the BBB, Gregory offered a refund of only $1,500.00.

I declined because I felt it should have been more since the job was not completed as promised, and there was no $2,000.00 worth of supplies. The BBB did not agree with me and closed the case.

Landscaping scam

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Hired Divine Designs & Landscaping to replace sod, during Milton hurricane water seeped into house, Gregory (landscaper) thought it leaked though the foundation. Greg explained that the side of the house needed to be dug out and soft concrete needed to be poured into the foundation, to get deep into the holes.

Edward (helper) dug first section along house and fixed some sprinklers charging $1050.00, then Gregory said it would cost another $3000.00 to finish. Edward asked for $2000. 00 for supplies before starting to pour in soft concrete, job was not done as explained. What supplies, they used a small bucket, metal stick, shovel, dry cement mix with my water and Gregory sticking the mixture into the foundation with his hands, not as Gregory said it would be poured in with a smooth finish.

After what they perceived was finished Greg asked for another $1000.00. Still not resolved even after a complaint to BBB and dbpr of Florida.
