I agree with the customer, the owners son is the laziest person on earth! They have horrible customer service, unless you like being talked to like a *** by someone who has never touched a tool in his life. I would not recommend this place to anyone, unless you like paying high prices for sub par work from a washed up ***!
Mr. Yurek scheduled an appointment to inspect his uneven braking on his street rod. On inspection, we advised him we could fix his brakes, but he had installed a compression fitting in the hard line that was unsafe and illegal. He did not want to pay us to replace the line and told us he would repair it himself and bring it back afterward.
His car was dragging the front brakes due to no vacuum for his power brake booster. The low vacuum condition was due to improper timing and a poor ignition (this is why he was replacing the distributor). Anyone installing a distributor would set the timing properly before letting a vehicle leave their shop. He was charged a total of 5 hours for the distributor install, including building a custom spark plug wireset that he requested (approximately 2 hours) and setting the carburetor and timing. The other 2 hours of labor was for the custom radiator hoses he also asked us to install. The upper is a flexible stainless pipe that has to be cut to length and bent to shape, and we had to replace his thermostat housing to accommodate the new hose. We also fixed a broken radiator support rod that he neglected to mention. He was never charged the $49 for inspecting the brakes.
In conclusion, we are sorry that Mr. Yurek was not happy with the work done on his car. We hope all of our customers will be satisfied with our high level of service and hold ourselves to a high standard of quality. However, given the unsafe condition of his car and the custom nature of the work requested, we still believe we was charged appropriately. Thank you for reading.
