Administrative hubris

I have tried to like DCPS but their admin is very testy. Their buildings are nestled among the feds which have notoriously smug workers who are entirely invested in GS self conception. Same goes at DCPS. You hear say "I work for DCPS" meaning "I am high and mightt." One track is not about career track it is about Dollar Me Proud coated over with educational jargon gibberish and hype. Test: Will you work without pay? What if the school was in Timbuktu? Would you still feel such pride of place? So this is how these grifters and nepotists and gatekeepers and protectionists keep The Big Company in business for themselves! You march out and eat from the food trucks. You hire the meanest security guards for front desk receptionists. You scare and browbeat "to test applicants" and laugh at them with contempt. Very disgusting and shamful. Wait till the lights are turned off. Up to the very last pensioner will they keep up that charade. Facepalm
