Distance will not work with you, once in the contract you are stuck with it

I went to a seminar and was sweet talked into signing up for the lpn to rn program, ended up moving to California and the state will not accept rns from the program, distance learning refused to drop my contract and only offered me other programs, also the school lost the credentials and I was offered another program once again.

User's recommendation: Read the contract word for word.

You may not be stuck. Look up Misrepresentation in Contract Law and see if anything applies to your situation.

If so, take action.

FTC has a complaint process that may help. l

Unethical Business practices

You need a Red Flag option to rate some businesses. Sales rep? Michelle contacted my daughter (recently turned 18 and graduating from high school) and scammed her into $12,000 worth of debt and a LIE at 18 yrs old and never had a job. SHE TOLD HER ONCE SHE SIGNED SHE WAS IN A NURSING PROGRAM and she wasn't. That was a lie. We called the school distance learning said she would be going to after completing their part and they never answered the phone and when they did whoever didn't speak clear English and the college wasn't even accredited like distance learning website says. She would of had to pay $1500;a month to "college" plus $350/month to distance learning. And ASIC is not a US accrediting body, they look at Business practices and obviously shiesty is the normal for Europe. Talking to attorney about bankruptcy for my 19 ye old daughter. STAY AWAY stay AWAY

Scam they only care for your money

I spent a ton of money and wasted time. They lie to you only to drag out the process with my concerns for an online program they stop offering.Only to give you options to change your career.

Bad customer service

Advisor was extremely rude! When Carry called and I told him it wasnt a good time instead of hanging up he started harassing me. I would never recommend this company if thats how their so called professionals treat potential clients.

User's recommendation: Definitely not.

Almost got conned!

I received an application to finance my core classes for school. I decided to contact the college my credits would transfer to and the dean was so upset at the cost they were charging me! They wanted to charge me triple the cost of what I can get my classes at another online site. Please DO NOT USE this company!!!!

They are a scam

Stay away, first, they are not a college, and they state that on their web site. See the ASN content where it clearly states nursing school is accredited by ACEN. Excelsior lost their accreditation, and they are not affiliated or work with any other schools. So how can they claim this? Their instructors do not teach content well enough and I had to spend more time and money preparing for the exams. If you want your RN do not go here. They are horrible.

User's recommendation: Stay Far away.

Distance Learning Systems of Indiana

Distance Learning Systems of Indiana
I had entered into a contractual agreement believing I was going to gain college credits with Excelsior College. When in fact I was being poorly prepped for tests I would be taking with Excelsior where there was not any affiliation and the testing questions did not align with what I was being taught. I had found out before the fact of repeating test multiple time paying additional testing fees; that DLSI should of been reimbursing me for the second failed attempts. They used deception to make me believe I was attending Excelsior College and that I had to use their course programs to gain a degree. My email is wagnerjoey56@***.com if you would like to discuss your situation with them. I implore each and everyone that has felt victimized by Distance Learning Systems Indiana to contract Indiana states attorney general to begin mediation for inflicted damages. Thank you, Chrystal Wagner
