Glacier Bay - Water Dispenser Leaking, within a year

I bought Glacier Bay High efficiency water dispenser Mocel # VWD5446BLS-2 from Home Depot in April 2018. It was used for 8 weeks at a festival between myself and my employees.
It was drained, cleaned and set for storage after that. When I cleaned, and set it back up, the valve on the back was leaking. I followed instructions by taking off the bottle, watching it, and the drain in the back continued to drip. So, drained it once again.
Checked the bottle, made sure the drain cap was secure. It still leaked. Removed the bottle again. The spike broke off when the bottle was removed.
So, now it's trash.
The one I had before worked for 8 years before needing replacement. Have these things become very fragile or something?
Filling problems with Glacier Bay Soap Dispenser

The dispenser design needs a complete investigation & overhaul. So many people, including me, has the problem of refilling the dispenser.
The soap jams up the dispenser and can't be filled from the top. We have to wait for the handyman to come to unscrew the bottle from behind the sink walls (narrow space) and refill it. If that happens every time; and it does, there is a serious design flaw.
Please correct it. The product and you are getting bad reputation.

when using 3 gallon le bleu water bottle the bottle stated collapsing. can you not use 3 gallon bottles with this dispenser
