Discover is the worst credit card company to deal with. All of my other cards have been kind enough to lower my interest rate and help me during this hard time. Discover refuses to help me and just keeps gouging me pushing me over the limit with exorbitant interest rates and fees

Failure to investigate and contributing to fraud

I notified Discover Card when I found a charge that should have been refunded. At first, Discover seemed genuinely interested in resolving this matter. They notified the vendor, PrettyLitter, who replied to this dispute with another person's personally identifiable information - Who is Dana Duckworth of Allen, Texas and why did PrettyLitter reply to my dispute with her information? Why did Discover find Dana Duckworth's transaction details as acceptable to deny my dispute?

Discover replied to my dispute with a 10-page response via mail. In this response, Discover accepted Dana Duckworth's transaction information that had nothing to do with me and granted the chargeback in favor of PrettyLitter. When I questioned Discover about Dana Duckworth, they pretended to be dumb and insist that Dana Duckworth's transaction information does not exist in their records.

After sending FedEx confirmations to Discover in an attempt to win this dispute, Discover's customer service insinuated that I was lying and refused to grant the refund no matter what documentation I provided. Finally, PrettyLitter acknowledged receiving my return but asked me to drop my dispute before they will issue a refund. The people at PrettyLitter think the American public is stupid!

As a 33-year customer of Discover with perfect credit score, I am looking forward to the day that Discover apologizes for treating me like *** and wasting over 4 hours of my life defending an unsolicited charge.

The big problem here is that Discover Card accepts false information from vendors in response to chargebacks, and doesn't protect their cardholders from fraud.

To see IF the Funds had been deposited into the account

Too much hassle just to find simple information about it my account. Such as IF the Funds had been deposited it into the stupid account. I Never received it a reply from Discovery Bank. Called Discover credit card phone number. Person who takes care of me.did not help. So many advertisements about Discover card that company is more than garbage commercials. The person said that is nothing they can do about my situation. They cant stop or cancel any transaction. I picked the wrong day a concert ticket. Trying to pick up the right day no one can help me. And Ticketmaster dont have a phone number to call. That means I have to go to the concert not matter what. No change, not refund and not cancellations. The whole system sucks.

How fast I get a new card and issues are resolved.

Indeed a replacement card because I lost my card and 2 fraudulent charges which I already talked to someone I think. This problem also involves my bank card and my Visa cards which have already been replaced.

This bank is very good at taking in money and that's it. I opened both a savings and a money market account.

A couple of months after opening, I lost access to my online banking and the telephone message I got was that a business decision was made to close my account. Spoke to 7 or 8 different CSRs and was told that my account was either closed or suspended under review depending on who I spoke to. One csr told me that one of the accounts was definitely closed and a check would be sent to me. It took hours before I finally got a supervisor who can't do anything to unlock my account.

She said she would investigate and call me back. Meanwhile, I have no access to my money. I called today to find out the status of my account and the csr told me that the supervisor is not in the office and that I will get a call back from the supervisor when she gets back in the office. Today is Friday, 12/23/2022.

Again, still can't access my funds. I requested them to transfer the funds (over 150k) to my linked account but they said no one on duty at Discover can do it. They said if I request to close the account, a check would be sent to me within 60 days.

Those poor CSRs must be getting a lot of angry customers. Stay away from Discover.
